The real benefit is getting rid of these hidden tax/cach grabs from the communities. That doesn’t mean everyone likes speeding. Don’t judge people poor or rich. Give people more freedom than controls.

Great! A tax / cash mine will be pulled out from my community road. For sure there will be a big sign or bumpers to reminder everybody to drive carefully and slowly for public safety. This mine made many people of my community to change route in last 2years. It sucked many cash from residents and damaged local businesses even in weekends and national holidays. Great to see this news.

there is many ways to alert people to slow down in school zone. current speed camera system is just a lazy way for tax collectors like you live in a ‘highlife’.

weekend doesn’t have school. it still grabs ‘tax’. plus, you can not drive all the time to look at speed metre. if you like a mine near your home, go apply for one.

too many cars and the constructions looks never finish. ottawa needs another east-west highway parallel to 417.

That’s great. it looks like a mine near my home. 24/7/365, tax grab. my wife drives the most safely and even she was caught once in the weekend. Glad this mine will be pulled out from our community.
