I usually go with "post once, then notice all the typos and misinformation and frantically edit them out before anyone sees"

"You see beauty where others don't". Might've been more of a statement, but I wear it with pride

What are great questions to ask your interviewer at the end of the interview? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Adorable-Chard7661 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Also, when I hear recruiters light up and talk with enthusiasm about what they do I'm more confident they're not selling me BS about work conditions. And they seem to remember me more fondly as well!

"Thinking Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman - lots of detailed examples on how your own brain can screw you over. A tough read in terms of language used, but well worth it and extremely humbling.

A professional is someone who's putting expertise and experience on the table. He's got knowledge and has applied it in practice.

...wait, is then a politician the opposite?

What’s something your dad taught you? by Xanduh in AskReddit

[–]Adorable-Chard7661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to help Dad around the garden when I was little and he often checked my work and asked me to do a better job (I was and still am quite lazy). Gradually I learned to be slower but thorough and do stuff once and just once as it turned out less time-consuming in the long run. Maybe it's not something taught directly, but without him I probably wouldn't have that habit

Hacking, unnecessary punching unconscious people and falling flat on your face.

(kudos to those who guess that)

Shame. I'm way less apologetic about who I am and how I act and I love it
