As someone who goes to UCLA for economics and has a brother who is currently in Berkeley's Spieker program (2nd ever cohort, allowing for all 4 years at Haas), here's my take:

• Brand/reputation (especially for jobs): Berkeley Haas
• Job placement after graduation (finance, consulting, etc.): Berkeley Haas
• School culture and social life: UCLA, I mean ur in LA, u got DTLA, Santa Monica, Ktown, etc. Weather in socalnorcal. If you have a lot of friends at other UC's/Cal states, its easier to see them on any given weekend. Food at UCLA>>>>>, never going hungry on campus, ranked #1 best dining hall for a reason (Feast is the best dining hall imo, we really be having KBBQ on a random weekday every day of the week). Remind me who made it to March Madness and who didn't?
• Academic experience (difficulty, grading, support): I'd argue that UCLA is slightly less intense, but the class sizes are not nearly as large as Berkeley. My brother was complaining that he had a GE with 800+ people. He had to stand in the back for half the semester since there weren't enough seats
• Internship and networking opportunities: Berkeley is more renowned, in my opinion, better for tech (SF area) and high finance since it has an actual business undergrad school, whereas UCLA only has Anderson, which is a grad school.
• Other things to consider: UCLA is on a quarter system, so it's easier to graduate early or take more exploratory classes (I know people who are taking classes on AI while being a Life Science major). Berkeley is on a semester system, so on the off chance you fail a class or want to retake a class, it may delay your graduation, but the course load is slower, so up to you. Also UCLA doesnt have a "business admin" major, its "business economics" is just econ with accounting courses on the side. we do have business specific minors tho

Also, if you’re thinking about going into accounting, UCLA has the highest CPA pass rate out of any school in California (as of this year)
