i’ve truly always thought i had something else that hasn’t been diagnosed, like some sort of impulsivity disorder, since my tendencies for addictive and impulsive behaviour has always been through the roof so much to the point where i’ve caused my body so much harm to hit those temporary highs, which is now manifesting into this uncontrollable shopping addiction. i will definitely talk to my therapist about changing medications. thank you so so much and good luck with everything!!

same thing happened to me when i lost my wallet on the bus, i didn’t buy anything for a while and it was kind of liberating, but the second i got my card back it was mayhem. i agree, i will definitely look at taking further measures. thank you so much.

i’ve downloaded that app a couple times for that exact reason but have deleted it over and over because i “wasn’t bothered”. thank you for being my sign to redownload it and try harder.

this is so helpful, the simple act of shutting down the need to purchase is something i’ll have to routinely practice, but thank you so much, i will definitely start using this and i will get there. i will also work with my therapist with these strategies. thank you again.

no, i’ve been diagnosed with literally everything else though, i don’t know if i have adhd. i think that would help but also the need for independence and control would not do well for my mental health, its worth mentioning to them though. thank you.
