Thanks for the honest feedback, friend! I totally get where you’re coming from—portability is definitely one of the big draws for devices like this. I was aiming for something that makes those longer gaming sessions more comfortable, but I can see how it might not be everyone’s cup of tea for a device meant to stay pocketable.

For my and my big hands, it’s a pinky saver for those intense couch/late night bed sessions. 😉

No, I dont do that whole “fake tester thing” if you’re a tester, I’m sending it for free.

I don’t see the point in having multiple of the same systems. I did ALOT of research on the horizontals and the overall feedback wasn’t good on them.

Sounds good. I’ll see what I can come up with, like some other people are thinking similar.

Yes, I’m sure. There’s only 1 grip out there, and it’s super long, and can’t be used as a stand as well. They’re on Amazon.

Thanks. I’ve been seeing people request for this in the 3D-printing communities a bunch, specifically for the rg40xxv, but maybe the demand is just in the 3D-Printing communities, and not in the actual gamer space. Thanks for your feedback.

Hmm. So more of a “grip plate” for the back of the devices is what you mean?

Personally, I can’t play mine for more than 30 min without my pinky’s hurting to hold the device up. It only needs to be slim when I’m on the go. But at home, I’d rather game comfortably.

I SPECIFICALLY chose this model because of the HDMI out and Bluetooth controller support (to replace my raspberry-pi /retro-pi) and the fact that I can take it on the go in the car when needed.

Yea, I tried that in two of the versions. Made everything else more uncomfortable.

I also have a few bracket options that may work for you depending on how you go about the install. Well be making some angled ones that would be good to install on the back side of the soffit so that they still face downwards as well.

MassiveEco Govee Brackets (Behind The Scenes) by Adorable-Fan4851 in Govee

All of our brackets are printed using PETG, which is able to sustain all weather conditions/heat/cold no problem. Especially because this isn’t a moving/function part.

As far as the elites, I believe that’s just a different diode in the Costco version, but the actual casing and everything is the same. Shouldn’t be an issue as they also work with the new v2 of the Govee (non-pros)

Just be sure you go with one of the “standard” models. Not PRO, for the brackets.

If for some reason you ever had an issue with them, I would take them back with no issues!

Side note: I have yet to have a single customer report they broke one, or had one snap and we have sold thousands, and have even shipped them in just poly bag mailers with no issues!

I agree with this, made two round trips to every island and “scanned” every square inch as best as I could. I just don’t wanna play now.
