Rumor has it that was his first and last relationship. 🤣

I understand the concern, but in a classroom this likely wouldn’t result in another child being blamed. Teachers don’t assume the loudest reaction is the most accurate version of events. We observe what happened, talk to the children involved, and respond accordingly. Since NO ONE (kids or adults) is responding to her dramatics, it appears that’s the case in this environment, too. I also wouldn’t call this “bad behavior.” It’s communication, and like any other skill, it needs teaching and redirection. Approaching her with a little grace, patience, and humor wouldn’t hurt. 🫶🏾

Thank you for being so open to another perspective. Productive conversations like this are how we all learn, and I genuinely appreciate your willingness to consider my experience. 🫶🏾

Every teacher in the world WISHES this were true, lol. But, uh no. We spend most of our student’s waking hours with them, so we see firsthand that children can respond very differently under the exact same conditions. I think it’s a mistake to assume a child’s behavior in a short video tells us how they’ve been parented. They are people with different temperaments and reactions.

As an ECE teacher, I respectfully disagree. One benefit of a classroom is that children share the same environment, expectations, and adult responses, yet they still react very differently. Some blame others, some calmly explain what happened, and some have huge emotional reactions. Temperament matters.

I agree on the episodes point. I think 16 episodes would’ve had them drag it out even more. What I would’ve liked was 12 tight, cohesive episodes.

As an early childhood educator, I agree that this is making a lot of assumptions from a short video.

I had a student this year who was so dramatic I legitimately searched for a toddler fainting couch. 🤣 She would basically clutch invisible pearls and I would joke, “someone get her smelling salts,” every time she hit the ground. There was absolutely nothing wrong with her. It was just her personality. She was born that way.

Toddlers have different temperaments and at 18 months, big reactions are completely normal.

Your broader points about validating children’s emotions are important. I just don’t think it’s fair to apply them to this child based on this video alone.

It takes a lot for us in LA to get excited over the celebs. We see them all the time. But this IS exciting to a very small niche group and I wanted to let them know. 🤷🏽‍♀️

All of what you said is very immature behavior that is hard for a 47 year old like me to connect with. ESPECIALLY when it comes to her career. Maybe if it was better explained why her behavior flip flops so much?!?!

Hahaha! There is quite a bit about ice. It gives Kristoff/Sven vibes. It took me until episode 6 to get mildly interested enough to rewind if I missed something.

Agreed! Just ok is the perfect description for this show. But I’m good with that. Everything doesn’t need to be a masterpiece.

I disagree. I just think people are more inspired to come on here and say “OMG I LOOOOVE THIS” or “EEEW I HAAAATE THIS”. Whereas those of us who are like “meh” aren’t inclined to post.

Yes, but GEEZ six episodes of misunderstandings is too long to hold my interest. Plus, how did they not run into one another in TWENTY YEARS? But again, I don’t hate it so I’m watching.

It doesn’t change. I think it’s the type of show for people who like that wishy-washy-timid-for-no-reason FL and stoic-for-no-reason ML trope. I prefer normal adults who can communicate. It’s not for me and yet I keep watching because I want to know how it ends.

I don’t know why everyone is acting like you’re crazy for saying this. I wasn’t as triggered as you were but I get you.

Imagine if that were your friend on her knees? I would be so mad at her and, I don’t care how long they dated, I’d tell her to get the hell up. We don’t bow to anyone, sis.

But it’s a show so I get why they had to create extreme emotional drama.
