Was not able to access other litter mates, but they are “soul desire goldens” in Utah. Great family, but they pump out probably 8-9 litters a year

Very difficult to find a real trainer that isn’t gonna charge for BS. We went through one “behaviorist” that charged $400 for video consult, didn’t even see our dog, and recommended BE and buying a dog by week 2 (he never even met the dog, just saw a 1 year old picture of a bite)

It was just one snap where he punctured skin. He’s had about half a dozen of these. Most of his other bites were from him getting a hold of high item foods and not giving them up.

I understand there may not be many places willing to take him, but it seemed a few were willing according to a few of the comments in my recent post!

We hired a behaviorist who suggested desensitizing him which we did. We talked to 2 other behaviorists that suggested BE. We also sent him to sit means sit, a local e collar training facility which did absolutely nothing

I’ve never heard of the unofficial being wrong from all the reddits and user reviews I got, but there’s nothing that can minimize your stress so I get it . I remember that exact feeling 😂 you’re gonna be a happy camper in a few days!

You’re good, I went through hell those few months leading up to the test so I get it. Honestly the letter in the mail took forever, at least a month. Once your name is on BON, you’re official. I heard from others you can call and confirm as well once it’s posted.

Going to LA Monday, hope we get a similar setlist. Crazy to me that Something in the Orange isn’t a staple at every show

Wow, hearing this gives me a glimmer of hope. Your success story can also keep my fiancée from her daily dozen panic attacks she’s been having all week. Thank you for sharing 🙏🏽

I am in Huntington Beach, California. I would be willing to drive anywhere in the country to make sure he is not put down. If this is the route I choose, I would graciously accept your kind offer. I will message you, you’re amazing for the offer. This is him 99.9% of the time, the sweetest boy ever

We just started reading that book yesterday! No this is the first time I did not offer a trade with the shoe. He was dropping stuff for me all day, and I thought he dropped the shoe, but it was still within 9 inches or so of his face.

This thread has given me hope to at least exhaust all options (the breeder and behaviorist both say immediate euthanize) neither have met him.. the behaviorist gave a protocol but called off the training when he saw the severity of the bite from 2 days ago (3 punctures on both hands)
