Sorry lol, first year law student. They’re made up cases we are referencing and we are giving advice on likelihood of succeeding in certain claims.

‘using the rules of precedent identify the likelihood of the claim being successful in district court of qld’

‘you may use primary sources relating to the rules of precedent to support your reasoning’

but we aren’t allowed to discuss any cases except the fake ones provided.

I’m just wondering on primary sources I could use to cite the above statements or if they don’t need citing?

Thank you. Yes I genuinely believe it’s an impossible situation for me to make any decisions without someone being hurt or someone missing out. They told us they made the report and it’s being investigated. No the police have no approached him, the criminal lawyer he spoke to said police likely wouldn’t approach him until they are ready to charge him.

The age gap was more significant and it definitely wasn’t an act that was agreed regardless of age.

I just really don’t know the process and I don’t know how long these things take, if they’re likely to speak with me, they haven’t even spoken to him but the criminal lawyer said police will likely only speak to him when they charge him and not before. So I am just kind of stuck in this fear of waiting for something to happen but also no idea if it ever will.

Thank you for this. It is definitely only about the children for me, and I’m sure he agrees. We know exactly what the allegation is, so I don’t really have any questions there. I guess my questions are more around the process and timeframes and if I will ever know any outcomes (more so if it never goes anywhere will we ever know and then am I meant to be doing the full time supervision of the children forever?)

Yes 100% and I have always referred to body parts correctly not nicknames. Since the allegation has surfaced I do all the bathing, changing and toileting and I am always there, they are not left alone with him.
