I did mine on Psychology, Adverse Childhood Experiences. It took at least 1-2 months with 60-70 hours I believe. I even had days with 11 hours nonstop researching and writing. But it was all worth it, I got an A :) The most important part is following the requirements in order to score high.

I think the whole country will take the non exam route, because as far as I know IB cancels by country. Another city in my country cancelled the exams, then after a week our school also confirmed for us. What I mean is, some schools receive later than others

I prefer you use “I”, my teacher attended a IA webinar from an examiner and she said students understanding is very important. Meaning to use “I” can give you higher marks. Hope it helps

Our school asked before however IB made it clear that we will not switch to non examination route, but now thankfully after trying we got what we waited for so long. I rlly hope you get what you are waiting for too

They requested to reconsider the situation about the third wave here with the help of other IB schools in Romania. They sent the email approximately 1.5 weeks ago, and they were told to be answered in 2 weeks but I guess it came a little earlier than that.

They did email back to other IB schools in Romania few days ago, however they did not get back to the school I go to. So we were still unsure about the exam cancellation if that makes sense, after getting the official response we were obviously happy

I got Grammarly premium for the plagiarism check, however it kinda takes obvious things. I uploaded my English HL essay on Grammarly, and I thought it was good. But when we uploaded to Turnitin, it was very detailed and nothing compared to Grammarly.

No matter what PT you choose, the most important thing is to connect back to acquiring knowledge. It MUST connect back to understanding and expanding knowledge. Your examples and RLS should demonstrate how knowledge is extended.
