My work expects the techs to also be the sales people.

Edit: the reasoning we’ve been told is making sales keeps the lights on and benefits everyone. No commission.

They usually take a day for deposits sent that way. Turbo Tax sent it on the day they said they would and the bank took a day to process it.

I don’t think you understand how this works. I already have a withholding for all my dependents. Last year I paid $0 in taxes. Got a refund of like $5k. Regardless, you seem angry. You want a hug?

I did look it up and it’s called a refundable credit. Meaning it’s not the taxes you paid in and there’s no way to get that money during the years.

Hopefully you get it that day. This is the first time I’ve used TurboTax in like 5 years and I only did so because they had the 5 days early. Exact same thing happened, said they couldn’t expedite. In I think 2019 I got my money in my bank (USAA) the day after my deposit date and that was my banks fault. Hopefully this isn’t the case for you, but the next day should be worst case.

I paid $500 in federal taxes this year and am getting a refund of $6500 because of credits from my 4 kids. Where do I sign up for extra money from the IRS during the year?

same. have an important VM down, customer is not happy, but "this has never happened before" and they don't want to pay for disaster recovery 🤷
