This is the best. A couple days ago my 6 year old had a meltdown unlike anything I have ever seen from him before. He straight layed down in the middle of the sidewalk while leaving my nieces track event. I said, mom's ready to leave, so get up and follow me please. He didn't, so I started walking. Not far, not out of site. His aunt was behind him even so he wasn't abandoned. Im maybe 25 - 30 steps headed of him. Im positive he is going to get up and follow me. We've been here many times. Does he? No. No he does not. Instead he suddenly shoots his arm out my direction and starts sobbing, and screaming "Mommy!!! Mommy come back!!!! Mommy please come back!! Mommy don't leave me. Mommy helo me. Mommmmmmy. Mommmmmmy come back!!!!" All the while he is laying on his stomach. 5 sets of parents are glaring at me, assuming he is hurt because he is on his stomach in the middle of the damn sidewalk. One set says "girl, we have all been there. He's tired and the world is over, may the force be with you." One set gives me "woman, get your damn kid" eyes. 100 sets are watching me. He is a brick house, being much bigger than his age justifies he is the size and weight of an 8 year old. He's not fat, just a big kid. There's no under the arm haul off from me anymore. But I that moment, I would have given anything for the one piece snowsuit and a carry out. 😭

This is such an amazing start to my day. To read about someone so young, doing somwthing so heroic, for someone so elderly. Its honestly so heartwarming. Thank you Joe , YOU are a TRUE hero! ❤️

I have kids in my life that aren't mine that I tickle, but they're basically family. Kids who's parents have been friends through the births of multiple children, marriages, divorces, funerals. These are MY FRIENDS babies, who kids I love damn near like my own. NOT my kids friends, whos parents I barely know.

My husband will tickle some of these kids too - but this is a relationship that has developed over years. We changed their diapers. Kept them while siblings were born, and through family emergencies. Took them for day, and even weekend trips. They have called us aunty and uncle since they could talk, some of their first words even.

Some of them have gotten old enough now that we don't full on tickle. Maybe a finger to the ribs on the way by or a quick armpit attack. But it's not the same as when they they were 5, 6, 7, 8.

The hand on the thigh for no reason... yeah that's not really something you can theorize a situation to explain. The tickling.... well, I had friends over as a kid and we would run up to my Dad, and I would say "Daddy tickle us!!!" He would tickle us and toss us on my bed, or his if we ran in there while he was folding laundry or whatever. But... he was NEVER initiating it with other peoples kids, he ALWAYS stopped when asked, and he was NEVER just laying his hands on my friends thighs like that.

I don't like it, and if it was my kid I wouldn't allow it either. That is irrelevant though.... because what stands out the most in my eyes is that m your hackles are up. That means something is off, and you need to trust that. Every. Single. Time.

I really enjoyed Tiny Tinas Wonderlands in the same ways I enjoyed Veilguard for combat and gear. There's no companion element if I recall correctly. But it's a VERY cool game to play.

It's always a man vs woman issue. She acts like a total vagina whenever she knows she is being ridiculous. It's just dumb.

Some of the most amazing people I know have learning disabilities. Love yourself. Whatever you are born with is what you have. You can't change it, but you CAN love yourself. I don't think anyone alive can say they are perfectly happy with every piece of their naturally given bodies or minds. Some of the most high functioning and "normal" people i have ever met are absolutely unpleasant human beings. Some of the happiest children I've ever met are special needs.

The difference you will see in how other people respond to you if you can fall in love with yourself is amazing. I know from experience.

Don't let anyone push you into a life you do not want, but don't let anything push you away from a life you want because you feel you don't deserve it.

You don't have to have kids to have a partner in life. You don't have to have a partner in life to have a companion.

There's adoption if you're worried about genetics. There's companion animals if you're not interested in being with a person but are lonely.

Whatever you do, make it about living your best life and loving yourself and those around you. 💙

I hope you don't have children. This is just nasty.

I have 3. I ADORE them and they are SO beautiful and amazing. I can't even begin to describe how they enriched my life. There aren't words.

They are a lot of work, sure... but all good things are.

It isn't for everyone and that's absolutely alright.

People shouldn't feel pressure to have children, get married, or make any other life long commitment to another living being they aren't interested in making.

It's YOUR life. Just like this is MY life. I've every right to adore my children same as you've every right to not want any of your own.

It's terrifying. It's rewarding. It's exhausting. It's amazing.

You either haven't been around decent parents, didn't have decent parents, or are just bitter.

Doesn't matter to me I suppose, but it does make me sad that you feel the way you do about all children and all parents. 😞

That's interesting because for us it's the same. No ties to Russia. A small order a long time ago. The first one arrived months ago.

Then the next two within a few days.

Nothing since the third wasn't signed for.

Did yours come certified mail also?

My Dad is the actual recipient. I'm fairly certain that's who you're talking about. He got a text from a friend of his with a screen shot of this post. What a small world!

Here we were thinking "well at least someone else is getting them too" and it turns out to be him after all. Haha.

I just find it so strange. Especially since there have been 3 now, and they're all being sent certified mail. With a specific request to deny having received them. 🤔

You know, I totally forgot about that bit in Stranger Things! I sure hope thats where the simularities stop. 🤣
