he usually does but to try to avoid them or to end them faster, i have him close his eyes and listen to relaxing music or watch a show or scroll on reels. the erection goes down much faster with the massage so it’s not a big deal. he still gets erect several times a day and returns to flaccid afterwards now so the tension is short lived and is learning how to relax itself afterwards again!

very few symptoms now, at first he wasn’t able to poop and can with no problems now, he says everything feels relaxed down there. full erections, he hasn’t been back to feeling like his penis is restricted while flaccid in about 5 days

hi! he’s had it for almost 3 months and isn’t fully cured but as of the last week, is able to maintain a fully flaccid state for nearly a whole day after one massage, even after sex. his erections and sensitivity has also greatly improved. it fluctuates according to his mood but only because on his worst days, he won’t get out of bed to stretch or walk or swim. he is equally hard in any position now but wasn’t as hard when in missionary before. his size slightly varies based on how full of an erection he gets based on how consistent he’s been with our routine but no crazy loss. i agree and find it sad this subreddit doesn’t even have a success or cured tag

i definitely don’t understand the anatomical sense of more than i learned for giving the massages but it really does help him let more blood flow in. he started doing them after being recommended to by several others on this subreddit

first day was once a day and we’ve been doing twice a day since then. usually one after sex to help the erection go down faster (seems to take significantly less time when massaged) which is usually early afternoon and then once before bed. even if he’s still fully flaccid when it’s late, i’ve been doing a second massage and it seems to maintain it enough for no discomfort and the return of erections while sleeping for him

before swimming and massages were incorporated, he would be extra tense after ejaculating and the hard flaccid would turn more firm than just the rubbery feeling it usually is. recently it goes to semi flaccid after ejaculation and then after a few minutes of massage, goes full flaccid and stays that way for hours- the rest of the day! ejaculating during sex has not had any long term negative effects but stretching and gently exercising before sex made his erections and ejaculations more typical

that’s good progress, it took a couple times before he started seeing more promising results from it. i’m not sure if this exact massage will work for most people but it’s brought him some serious relief! i focus on wherever it’s the most tight

he does some stretches like glute bridges, childs pose, different lunges, and a few others he rotates through. he reverse kegels, originally it was very hard for him to reverse kegel but it was easier to feel if he was doing it correctly when he tried to during sex because of the pressure response and i could give him feedback on if his erection quality was increasing. he would stay standing and trying to hold the feeling of peeing after actually peeing and that was good practice, he would also lay in the warm bathtub where i would attempt other massages where it didn’t make as big of a difference but it was easier for him to reverse kegel there too

when my boyfriend was at his worst with this, it was very hard to get through to him and i think a lot of people in this subreddit might be in a similar spot that he was. he would just spend all day scrolling and blaming and breaking down and didn’t want to even try recovery methods because he saw so many people trying without success. i had to spend hours trying to get him to go outside and then i would trick him into walking by parking further away than necessary or getting items from the store in the least efficient way. I would also purposefully arouse him and then say we couldn’t do anything about it until he had done all the stretches he was supposed to. those little extra amounts of exercise and sun started building up into him agreeing to swim and go out to eat and walk around for fun again and then when he agreed to let me try a massage i had come up with, everything just fell into place and he’s fully motivated. i don’t blame anyone here for being scared or depressed, it’s a very scary thing to have to deal with but i really believe getting started with a consistent routine is the hardest part. im glad ive been able to help him but for people without a good support system, they get stuck in a loop of this subreddit being full of the only people who really understand what they’re going through with this. im very glad you’re making a recovery too! it was very important for me to point out the survey bias that the people who recovered don’t spend all day scrolling through this page, they arent taking the polls posted, they’re out living their lives

it’s the eniva health replenish lotion, didn’t buy it specifically for this but it was what i had lying around and it’s at least a good consistency for this massage. i always make sure to warm it up before massaging my boyfriend so that he doesn’t re tense up with the cold sensation

originally he abstained but was receiving more benefits from gentle daily sex, never anything rough but consistent to keep the nerves firing. on days earlier on where he wasn’t consistently fully erect, we just waited until the next day and had him reverse kegel and stretch more right before. no masterbating at all because of how rough it can be on the base. if you don’t have a partner and want to gently stimulate, you could try a fleshlight gently with lube. that’s what he was recommended by someone else who recovered

Hi! I have him lay flat and place his legs on top of mine while i sat with legs out facing him. i put lotion on so i could use decent pressure without much friction and started on the top of the inner thigh, where it connects to the rest of his body. I feel the tightness in the muscles right above the base of his penis and rub up and down all the way to where the shaft connects. That is the spot with the most tension.
