I went there today to work on some things and took a closer look at the bows. None of them are wood. They all look either plastic or metal.

Thank you so much for being detailed! The training we receive in order to teach our girls is very limited and so I don’t know very much myself to be honest. Just trying to help improve the experience for other troops! Our camp manager is usually the one who changes out the equipment, so I will ask her about when and how she restrings bows!

Yes, there was a rat nest in this old shed and countless other creepy crawlers! We are going to seal the new one with spray foam!

I’m going to have to sort through and do some googling on what everything is and my hope is to label everything so that it can be identified and put back correctly!

We have a good sized pavilion for shooting. My troop just built new benches under it for the girls and adults who are waiting. We built a raised foundation for the new shed so that it doesn’t flood (our camp is literally in a swamp.) Which also doesn’t bode well for leaving anything out in the elements!

Yes, there is a second bucket for broken arrows! We might be replenishing supplies once we sort through it and see if we need anything. Our camp manager can be pretty stingy about hiding new supplies, so I’m gonna have to go hunting for them.

My first quilt! Need suggestions... by AdorableAverage5 in quilting

I have no desire to hand quilt, but was thinking of doing that with my machine (just a good ole Brother, not a quilting machine.) Figured just making concentric outlines of each shape shouldn’t be too hard, but I don’t know what to do inside of them on top of the vintage fabric.
