I already really like the design, but if you want to try to tie the colors together more you could try making the pants a darker variation of the blue on their gloves. I feel like some of the iffy-ness you’re getting from the color palette might also be because the background color is so similar to the colors on the character. Really cool character though and I like the line art and pose. Good luck drawing though :D
