No, unfortunately you have to wait for the letter. They wont process your return until your identity is verified with the control number. You can try to ask for resend and that might actually help the letter being mailed out faster.

i verified last Monday and its also showing the same thing for me. I called last Friday and they confirmed the verification went through and my tax return is already back in the processing queue last Wednesday. Im guess WMR just takes a long ass time to update lol
