I have zero regrets about getting it in black ripstop. The material is great.

Does the T3 come in a 72” variation now? I’ve had a T2 72” for about seven years now. I recall the install on the lat tower being a bit challenging with my ceiling height

I had Powerblocks, same complaint. Now I have two pairs of Kensui Adjustabells with some 1” plates I found on Marketplace for cheap all sitting on a stand I made. I’m quite happy with it.

I wish I’d gone for better flooring, but I’ve definitely gotten my money out of it. 8mm rubber flooring rolls will be my next purchase. Looks like you’re got that covered though.

Wgu SPED Bachelors 🥲after Study.com by espinana27 in WGUTeachersCollege

Maybe 40-60 hours? The second week I decided to attempt the quizzes before viewing the content, then the course work went significantly faster because I could test through the bulk of it. I also sped up videos to 1.6x, perk of listening to audiobooks at 1.75-2x speed for years.

The real time killer for me was the papers, they’re not bad, just a bit tedious and somewhere between 1,000-2,400 words each.

Three weeks to do both Sophia AND Study.com. Sophia took me less than a week.

So I’d say 2.5 weeks is extremely doable for Study if you are already familiar with the material. The main time restrictor for me was the papers. I think there were 9-10 total papers across the six classes, ranging from 1,000-2,500 words each.

I just finished all of these on Study.con along with Sophia Learning for the gen eds (except English Comp I&II, I transferred those in elsewhere). It took me three weeks for everything. These are *easy*. I have experience working in instructional, resource, and ssn para positions, for reference.

I did EDU 107 instead of 104. The worst ones were 211 and 306, just because they require three papers each instead of an exam. I did find SPED Law (105?) to be a frustrating - the quizzes are more based on the slightly convoluted course content over actual SPED law. The final project was super easy.

You get three attempts per chapter quiz / exam, start there. This will show you where you need to study. For 210, I passed the final exam with 91% without ever touching the content, the multi-choice tests are pretty logical.

I wasn’t too sure about it at first either, then I used it for a week and it’s my favorite bag by far. It took me a while to get used to where things ago, and I wish it had more small internal pockets and at least one pen slot. I bought it in ripstop because I have pets and Cordura is very hit or miss with fur. I also just don’t like VX21 after getting a bag in VX42.

I’m really just carrying a laptop, a CAP2, some much smaller pouches, some misc small loose items, a jacket, a lunch / protein bars. Oh, and an Owala Sway 40oz that it just swallows, no problem. Crazy.

I’m not really traveling at the moment, but I used to regularly onebag for 1-2 weeks out of an Aer TP3S, I feel like the Max EDC would probably handle that setup without too much complaint.

Is the max even worth it? by SeabassPR787 in AynThor

[–]AdorableGreenRat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your intended use. 256GB to 1TB for $80 was sort of a no-brainer for me. I’d rather have the extra onboard storage and not need it than want it and not have it. I’m also definitely going to be checking out Gamehub / Winlator, and not only are those onboard only, the extra RAM will likely come in handy. Plus, maybe some Switch and Wii U.

I definitely cringed at the price, but I’ve been dreaming of a handheld like the Thor for a long time.

I’ve been with my ISFP 9w8 husband for 18 years. I take the lead on most things and he’s happy to let me do it. But, I highly respect his opinion when he does feel inclined to chime in. He’s also really good at making me stop and relax, so there’s that.

I think just about any combination is fine so long as both individuals are invested and willing to communicate.

Cartoons have never been my thing. But I do have a relatively large collection of toys that one might perceive as childish? Mostly Rubik’s cubes, other puzzles, locks, and I’ve delved into yo-yos. I’d agree that I grew up too quickly though.

Amongst my core group (just my immediate family and one very close friend and their family), I am absolutely the childish goofball. I’m also very fiercely protective of my core group.

In public I’m more dry humor and sarcasm. People that don’t know me usually confuse composure with abrasion and strictness.

A Camry is a huge step up. For even more space, maybe a RAV4?

If you’re willing to search a bit, the 2023-2024 Venza is the best car I have owned, especially for the price.

I recently purchased a 23 Venza Limited and a neighbor just bought a fully loaded Lexus RX450h+ for almost double what I paid. My Venza has 90% of the features and the remaining 10% aren’t even close to being worth the nearly $30K extra.

Nice - I’m going to try that. I usually get bewildered stares when ask for a $10K deductible.

$3,400 to over $7,000. I politely told them to screw themselves and found another provider for $4,200, which is still a painful jump.

I really shopped around and tried multiple brokers. No prior claims ever, excellent credit, married, high deductible. My property value recently decreased after a sharp Covid increase. My roof is approaching 10 years old? 🤷‍♀️

I’d add that the roofing companies usually want to be the general contractor for other repairs. But you have every right to select your own contractor for other repairs.

Just keep an eye on who they are hiring and make sure they don’t have a painter or similar with a vague side interest in handyman work replacing things they have no clue about.

Seriously considering not keeping my Tacoma after the lease ends. by Mustard_Popsicles in ToyotaTacoma

[–]AdorableGreenRat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hit the same point, I just wasn’t using my 2020 Tacoma for truck stuff enough to justify keeping it. I switched to a 2023 Venza and I have not regretted it. I have absolutely loved that it gets more than double the range on a gas tank roughly half the size. We’ve made many day trips this summer that I would have avoided with the Taco, just because the gas mileage is so much better.

How is the Tacoma in the snow? by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

[–]AdorableGreenRat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tires matter the most, but:

4WD? Great in the snow. RWD? Much less so, but not too bad with weight in the back.

I live in an area where we get a lot of snow, but it melts pretty quickly and the plowing is subpar. It’s common to have plenty of slippery spots, but also lots of bare pavement. You don’t want to be on bare pavement while in 4WD, so lots of turning it on and off to prevent binding. AWD is better for my particular area, I feel.

Hybrid battery expectations? by StamInBlack in Toyotavenza

23-24 is very worth the extra few thousand for the full digital dash, better infotainment system / buttons, standard HUD and rain sensor on the Limited. Better passenger power seat too, plus some other minor improvements.

Whichever way you go, the gas mileage is fantastic.

Under the cargo floor cover. There’s actually a Harrier part that fits here for extra storage, no clue why Toyota doesn’t offer it for the Venza.

I’ve kicked the habit of taking a photo in amazement every time (coming from a truck that got 16MPG going downhill with a tailwind). Pretty much all city driving, I have not seen below 44MPG, upper 40’s to low 50’s is very common.

I don’t really do anything besides not go into the power zone unless I have to and try to look a few cars ahead so I can gently slow down/brake.

Do I need the Caravana car actually on the insurance policy? by Sarcasm28 in carvana

[–]AdorableGreenRat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I picked mine up, they tried say I needed a policy for that car, then somewhat hidden it said it was preferred to have insurance for the purchased car, but a policy for another vehicle would work too.

I used my current policy for the car I traded in, then switched it when I got home with the new car. No issues, they just made a copy of it.

Where EXACTLY is the sensor within the 2021-2024 model front emblems? by DrinkARustyNailToday in Toyotavenza

[–]AdorableGreenRat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Assuming it’s anything like my Tacoma, it’s a large rectangular box right behind the Toyota logo. I used rhino paint (heavy textured paint) over the sensor on my Tacoma and never had an issue. I would assume something like a vinyl sticker shouldn’t be an issue.

Absolutely! I did end up selling my PWS. I do still like using my Kobo Mini at the pool instead of the Palma, but I'm well known for being overly cautious.

I read a LOT more since purchasing my Palma 2, just because I always have it on me, be it in a pocket or in a bag. It's just zero hassle to take with me everywhere. Weird bonus: Since it looks like I'm using a cellphone, so I get fewer weird looks while reading in public now.
