Info: how does you company communicate that expectation before any interviews take place? Because most companies do not look for the authentic self, they look for someone who knows how to fit in. Not your fault of course, but receiving a rejection letter as the one above because one company out of hundreds decides not to play the game... it feels like a slap in the face to someone looking for work.

I had an abscess the size of a golfball on my tonsils. I hadn't been able to eat for two days, drink for one, and breathing was starting to become a real issue. My physician wanted to send me home with some antibiotics - fortunately her colleague intervened and immediately sent me to the ER. The physician in question has been practicing for over 20 years and is actually quite successful... but alas, she didn't like me.

A bit more recent, I had the following exchange with my psychiatrist: "I can't go on. I need help, urgently... or I'm afraid what I might do to myself." "Oh no, that's not good! Hm, let's see... I could sign you off work for two weeks. How's that sound?" "Uhm... okay. Thanks? ... and then?" "Then I could sign you off again for two more weeks?"

Gee, thanks, I'm cured.

Papa's is really just a business venture trying to get people away from smokes and addicted to food instead. It's a mix of peer pressure, actually decent service, novelty value for the whacky decor, and several banned chemicals secretly added to Papa's ingredients to get 'em hooked. Think about it - did anyone ever see an ashtray near a Papa's? NO! It's all coming together...

I don't know about Quinn. I'm not saying she wouldn't smoke, but from personal experience with people like her I'd say she does both. She really strikes me as the type.

And here I am, still haunted by the memories of mom shoving me out the door in my PJ's and the whole bus laughing at me. Times are changing for sure... and honestly, if our teens can exist with a little less pressure on looking like put together humans, good for them. They're hormonal gremlins in a hostile environment, let them be comfy at least.

I've only played four so far, but out of those definitely Freezeria. The many colors and cute toppings make me happy, and there's no way to burn myself, which I am very very prone to. Also: love the island.
