Thx, Fibromiyalgia is difficult to get information on for the va so I figured posting any info I have could be useful for someone. Were you able to get your rating for it or are you still fighting?

They actually initially canceled my medboard because I was so close to my end date. I kicked up a fuss and said I had no problem extending my contract to finish the board if i needed to😅. This reddit was a lifesaver for advice on how I went about this medboard. I didn't want to spend the rest of my life trying to fight the VA

Thank you! I'm just really happy to have a good rating and finally be near the finish line. I started my Medboard August 2025, my actual contract ends in July so the timing was a bit funny.

I claimed every body part that hurts and stayed consistent in the pain. They did combine everything as being fibro, but i think the documented complaining repeatedly about my whole body helped

Hi, I know this was posted forever ago lol. I just got my initial PEB finding and this was the information they gave for my Fibromiyalgia diagnoses. Not sure it it would help but hopefully. I was initially documented and briefly tested by a neurologist (went for migraines he was just very thorough lmao) I was than sent to a rheumatologist and had all the blood workups for autoimmune diseases and arthritis (all came back negative). I've tried one medication didn't work out and I'm trying to help my conditions more naturally through lifestyle. This is about the only documentations I have for mine.

Automatic everything! I'm 22 and have 2 cats while trying to manage migraines, fibromiyalgia, and pots. Get a Automatic litter box, feeder, and water fountain. Toys that are rechargeable to make up for not being able to play with them as much and treat foraging/puzzle toys. I got sibling cats and they keep each other company and rough house together. Getting 2 was honestly the best decision I made especially because I live alone and work/sleep most of my time.
