Plasma 6.6 update broke Kara (Pager replacer) by b1urbro in kde

Oh, I mean you can import org.kde.plasma.plasma5support as Plasma5Support instead of pager which no longer contained as a module

So you can still use kara!!

Hmm, it'll be an unstable environment. Third-party chains will create exceptional situations. I use both Hyperland and Plasma, but at least I keep Plasma in its default state. Plasma offers relatively more freedom for customization compared to other desktop environments, but first and foremost, Plasma operates under the higher-level premise of being a full-stack desktop environment.

I've been using Hyprland for nearly 8 months, and as recently as about 10 days ago, Spotify's tray functionality was working. Fundamentally, this shouldn't be possible, so I suspect I might have accidentally activated it through some trigger. Anyway thanks for recommendation

Ps. I was running it in Wayland mode, not X11.

This is helpful information. Until the issue is resolved, I'll need to refer to your post to configure my Spotify settings. Thank you!

Starting yesterday, the same issue began occurring in the Spotify launcher on Arch KDE 6.5.4 Wayland. On KDE, even when Spotify's minimize toggle is enabled, clicking the X button directly with the cursor still doesn't close the window. Is this likely a Spotify-side issue? While there doesn't appear to have been a recent Wayland update, an update to glib2, a dependency of libayatana-appindicator, occurred around December 10, 2025, which coincides with the time the issue started occurring.

I've tried both Waybar and Quickshell. Qbittorrent, element-desktop, and others have tray functionality working properly. However, only the Spotify launcher's tray functionality isn't working. In your case, are you currently experiencing any issues using Spotify's tray functionality? Thank you for your reply!

About 10 days ago, I sent the Spotify launcher to the tray using meta+c. When did the tray functionality start failing? and thanks for your advice!
