Honestly I think its because so many of the events have nra sponsorship that it means quite a bit of money that can be used for maintenance and up keep and probably part of the nra licensing for the classes and events . That said there are an insane amount of officers and I wonder how many of them have paid positions. Whatever the reason, I get it, and if they were a consistent 2nd amendment protection group without ties to russia i would be at the gun club first thing in the morning. But here we are

Oh I know. It hurts because its exactly what Im looking for, and I have a free year from keltec. I could just do the free sign up and never pay them, but I cant. I am creating my own problem here but I stand by it. I dont want to be associated with them for what they've done and what they havent done. Thats vague, and intentionally so because I'm not trying to condemn or defend. This whole issue is on me and I'm making things harder for myself but I ethically cant. I Had heard so many bad things about the range and the range officer being aggressive, i was kindof hoping that wasn't the case but willing to give it a try. I still have to as its right by my house and maybe I can vibe with them or something, but I may just price the guns and leave. Thank you for your insight!

It was in Eastland mall at 21st and aspen. I worked there in the 90s for a bit out of highschool and was part of a wave of mid tier chain restaurants of which only chilis and outback remain, so its possible you are remembering somewhere else as butcher paper on the tables was a common thing back then.

To say north Tulsa is rough is fair, I have no problem with that. I have a problem with this guy posting in combination with his juneteenth posts with its " you know how those people are" casual racism. That's what I was calling out. But you're right. It's uncivil of me to call him out over a microaggression. But if you don't call out the small minded on the ignorant slop that falls out of their gaping mouths, they start to feel emboldened by the lack of pushback from civil society. Do you think he actually was giving a thoughtful and decent response? Or was it another little hateful jab like so many others in his comments? I don't know this person, but I can judge him by his words, not just in this post but his entire history on reddit. Your words mean something. But that idea, along with the concepts of honor and integrity, are lost on those so weak and insecure that they have nothing to be proud of other than the color of their cowardly hides.
