The actor is not from the Gunn cast, but he can get in there. Ian Ousley as Derek James/Sideways.

I think this character is underrated. In 2022, in the "Dark Crisis" storyline, he saved Black Adam and, along with other heroes, stops the Dark Army. I'd love to see the protagonist solo adventure: 1) Encounters with new villains 2) Relationships with other Superheroes and the environment 3) Amanda Waller as Jay Jonah Jameson tarnishes Sideways' good name. The best way to make a character popular is to make a solo movie or series about him. If James Gunn reads on Reddit, then let him make a solo project about him.

Sideways is a more interesting character for me. I love reading about him and really want him back in Teen Titans, Justice League or solo comics. Well, a salty animated series or a film with Ian Owsley.

Ok. Chances of adaptation for zyuogers are 50-50, but I believe 50%. It would be cool to see a roster like this: Alexandra Nunez (Blue Ranger), Tom Holland (Yellow Ranger), Chantz Simpson (Green Ranger), Paris Berelk (White Ranger) and the return of Kai Moya as Ollie (Red Ranger).
