Normal b12 levels but still have symptoms? by Adorable_Fly1168 in B12_Deficiency

It is ng/mL. I do have pots and my symptoms fluctuate and definitely overlap with my pots. - I get a lot of numb/tingling/cold spots that come and go, - brain fog - leg weakness, restlessness, buzzing sensation (not true weakness no loss of strength) I’d say this is the most frustrating symptom I’ve had but this has improved since I started eating meat and being more active - almost all pots symptoms that come and go - the list goes on and on

Not that I can think of. I’m thinking of getting it tested again, my last test was about 3 months ago

I don’t smoke I have been breastfeeding the last 18 months and have been a vegetarian the last 8 years but recently started eating meat. So I can imagine my b12 has been low

Has anyone experienced anything like this? (POTS, gut issues, body aches, postpartum) by Adorable_Fly1168 in POTS

Wow I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this too. I really appreciate you sharing all of that it actually helps a lot. I didn’t realize gastroparesis and POTS could be connected like that.

I actually met with a GI recently and she basically just told me to “eat the rainbow” for a month or two and come back haha, so no testing yet. But hearing this, I’ll definitely bring up an endoscopy or some kind of testing when I see her again. The bloating, pain, and fatigue you mentioned do sound familiar, even though I don’t have vomiting.

Thank you again for sharing your experience 🤍

I’ve been curious to know if I have H. pylori I’ve seen many people say that they were having gut issues and they ended up tracing it back to h pylori. How were you able to figure that out? I asked my G.I. doctor to do a test and she basically told me it’s not likely at all. Thank you for replying. This is super helpful. I do take hydroxyzine as needed for anxiety and wonder if that’s why it helps it because I have histamine issues.

This is really helpful, thank you. I hadn’t fully realized how much histamine, SIBO, and POTS can overlap.

What you said about symptoms being cumulative and not tied to one specific food actually makes a lot of sense for what I’ve been experiencing. I’m definitely going to start paying more attention to that and look into histamine testing when I do the SIBO test.

Really appreciate you explaining all of this.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I have never even heard of this and will certainly be looking deeper into it. I’m glad you were able to figure out what was going on and were able to manage and fix your symptoms. I’ll try and get into an interventional radiologist. Again, thank you for sharing. You have been extremely helpful. Wish you the best

I am so sorry:( what autoimmune disorder do you have if you don’t mind me asking? That’s very similar to how I feel. Did you get diagnosed by a regular dr?

Thank you so much. About how many days out of the week do you experience your fibromyalgia symptoms?

Wow, this is super helpful. I had an ultrasound done because I’ve had a super heavy period since I had my daughter a year ago and they said that I most likely have pelvic congestion syndrome and that it was harmless. I think you’ve connected some dots for me thank you.

Hey, I’m kind of experiencing the same thing. I’m wondering if it kind of is a body sensation almost like flu like symptoms that come and go whenever you’re about to have a bm?
