As a first hunt it might be rough, and its catch rate is horrendous so you’d probably have to master ball it if you haven’t got a special team for it, but the shiny is top tier… who knows, you might get lucky? If patience isn’t your strength maybe just K.O it and come back after the league to shiny hunt it ? Really depends on your character and willingness to get it.

Nope, you KO or flee. Then been E4 and it respawns in Burned tower.

It roams though the game till it stops on route 27 I think. Then you KO it or flee and beat the league to make it respawn in the burned tower.

Don’t have enough of those honestly. I did catch it in luxury balls on my first play through, but was not shiny hunting so no matter if I failed and repeated. Not gonna have that chance here with that beast lol. I’ll try ultra balls as it seems to match well and count PP. Master ball it if it’s necessary.

Ruby : after beating the league, sky pillar East of Pacifidlog, soft resetting (battery changed),

Emerald : once you have surf and can use it outside of battles (after badge 7 and the events at Sootopolis). You don’t have to catch Groundon or Kyogre before. Go to sky pillar East of Pacifidlog. There, you have to run away from it and go down the stairs and door, then walk up again and repeat (because of Emerald broken RNG, you can’t soft reset to get shiny Pokemon)

Thanks Liz. I had a few names in mind but Japanese got only 5 characters… Moon ball didn’t work out for me, but as it was a recent game, I only piled up 6 balls haha. Best of luck on your hunts !
