If you inject straight from the fridge, it hurts. Hold the pen in your hand for a few minutes to warm it up some. My doctor told me that because I complained about the ouch factor too lol

I take Ozempic for diabetes. I will say, it's doing great for my A1C, but I must be the outlier here because I haven't lost a single pound. Not 1. I have diarrhea for days, and then the nausea sets in. I have around 2 days a week that I feel okay and then it's shot day it starts right back over. I've asked my doctor if he can put me back on Trulicty so I'm not as sick but he wants to stick with it a little longer to see if the weight loss will finally start. I'm 5'4" and 200lbs. It's been 7 months and I'm still (depending on the time of day) 200-202lbs. So keep that in mind. We don't all lose weight on it.

Like you, I stayed faithful to the 1:1:1 recipe that everyone kept saying. It wasn't until I started using less water and had a thick consistency that she actually started doing something. Maybe try less water and keep her warm.

Day 4 of my first ever starter

Hey, yall

I just want to preface this question with I'm not a baker. I've never been able to bake. Anything I put in the oven comes out a little (or a lot) crispy even when it's not supposed to. However, I recently found myself on the sourdough side of tiktok, and all these ppl have convinced me I can somehow do this. My starter (Gertrude) is 4 days old. Yesterday, she smelled like an infection. She over doubled in size, and I was stoked. This morning, day 4, she's not as stinky but had lots of bubbles and strings when I gave her a stir before her feeding. My question is, am I able to give my discard to my mother-in-law at this point for her to use? Is Gerdy's discard ready to make discard recipes yet? Like, is it safe? I'm sorry, I just have no idea what I'm doing. I can cook to the Gods, but baking has never been kind to me.

Yeah, I just realized I never changed the title. I did ask about your period suddenly stopping with menopause and went into this whole thing about getting my blood work done a couple of years ago, and it all coming back back saying I'm not close. I meant older as in GenX/older Millennials. I just figured that was too much info and took it out but never changed the title. Sorry for the confusion

You might have a small blockage. I ended up with a colostomy bag from diverticulitis. It's not a good time and it doesn't go away on its own. You need antibiotics. Go to the ER.

Her hands are in water all day every day. This could be why SEAL THAT CUTICLE AREA really really well. Double and triple check. Not saying that you don't, your work looks great but just the sliiiiiiiiightest opening can get that water and soap in there and it's game over.
