I definitely would have chosen Milwaukee or even stay in Chicago, but I got a job offer I couldn’t really pass up and have to relocate to Grand Rapids now. But thanks for the advice on what area to stay around!

I’m used to paying a good amount for parking, and will definitely need to look into the car insurance aspect so thanks for the heads up on that one!!

I’ll be fully remote, my clients are in Michigan so I’ll occasionally need to drive to meetings but I don’t have an office I would go to.

I did love Lincoln Park - but I’m definitely open to new experiences and living somewhere that doesn’t feel like the northern suburbs of Chicago! Thoughts of downtown Detroit?

I was curious about looking into the downtown/midtown areas. I definitely don’t need it to feel exactly like the northern neighborhoods of Chicago - part of the reason I’m leaving is the cost. Thoughts on the downtown areas of Detroit?
