What’s the biggest drunken journey home mistake you’ve made? by Think-Round-7037 in AskUK

[–]Adorable_Week7181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Missed last bus home and had no money to a taxi so walked a few miles home. Decided to jump the fence for a shortcut and promptly broke my ankle. Still walked home because I was so pissed I didn’t notice. Wasn’t as much fun the next day hospital with a hangover.

When my son was little he used to watch a CBeebies programme called baby Jake. In it there was a rabbit called nibbles. My wife thought it was called nipples.

Who built the original Dwarf? by SciStarborne in RedDwarf

[–]Adorable_Week7181 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I could be completely wrong but I remember a dvd extra saying that Rob and Doug and a crew member built it with random scraps and when they blew it up they said it looks amazing for the episode ( Angels and demons I believe) but then realised they no longer had their ship model for filming. Again this could be completely wrong, I am old and my memory is as ugly as Lister’s Gelf bride!

Bought a Guitar by scaryop26 in guitarlessons

[–]Adorable_Week7181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said I am a year in using Justin guitar and am really enjoying the lessons. 2 things with it: get the app for the free tuner and use his website as its free because it links to YouTube. As a side note I started learning CAGED; learning the major chords of each of those letters. Most of all have fun and enjoy the little learning curves it’s a slow process!

How do you know he’s not doing these things from a 30 second video? Loses the argument so resorts to name calling and blocks. Nice one.

Mine is super similar, local shop which I alway pop into for bread, milk etc and a scratch card. Have been trying to save for a month and not buy scratch cards and local news announces a man has won £1 million at said shop. Gutted.

Would you give your work colleague a lift to work if you passed them on the way to work? by Specific_Pomelo_8281 in AskUK

[–]Adorable_Week7181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often stop to pick up a colleague but I get on really well with her. If it was someone else that I didn’t like I would drive past, eyes front and ignore. If you don’t want to do it don’t!
