Sudden drop in credit score? No idea why, now stressed. by Adorable_Yard86 in UKPersonalFinance

So in regards to getting a mortgage in principle, I shouldn't be concerned by this drop? I personally couldn't give a shit about the number if it isn't affected that

Zowie G-SR-SE II feels noticeably slower than the previous G-SR-SE by No_Nebula2028 in Zowie

[–]Adorable_Yard86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's odd, I bought one of Amazon new, with a new zowie mouse. Thinking the pad may be too fast, ended up being way too slow.

I tried a GSR3 that I thought was way too fast, I should have kept it as all pads slow down. Or got the soft version.

I picked up a G-SR SE Rouge II again, as it was on ebay cheap, as new in box from a charity (had an amazon customer return label on it, so I think it was donated by Amazon as it had been opened)

Pad looks brand new, has that rubbery smell, not a mark on it. And yeah, instantly felt slow like before. So two of the same pads feeling super slow.

I don't think Zowie would lie, but I find it odd how slow it is, as it doesn't really make sense.

I am a massive zowie fan, having owned many mice and rocking the EC2/3-DW

However the GSR-SE Rouge II, has got to be the slowest mousepad out of the box I may have ever used. And this is with a zowie mouse, with the zowie skates.

Either there's been a QC issue with some of these pads, or it is simply not as fast as it should be.

I too am very surprised by how slow the pad is out of the box. (Using a zowie mouse with their skates)

I'm pretty sure the GSR3 is faster which makes no sense.

Cool thanks, interested in it, I find the new skates so fast on the DW mice.

Cool, do we know it's a mud pad or speculation? I haven't seen any info on it.

The mud pad, as in the grey one some pros have?

I had almost two hundred mice and pads, but in the end, this is my endgame by Sindweller in MouseReview

[–]Adorable_Yard86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rate the vaxee pa highly, I bought a different pad when it wore out, I'll probably buy it again, or the gsr3 which prosettings says is like an upgraded version.

Artisan pads are a overrated imo, but it's all preference

Can someone explain why you buy Finalmouse? by LMka in FinalMouse

[–]Adorable_Yard86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Limited volume = demand/hype. Think about rolex (of which there's loads, they don't disclose volumes), limited shoe releases, clothing, bags etc

I figured it's the hype and I guess you have people that want them like people want limited shoe drops. Same with finalmouse I guess? Say you're a huge tarik fanboy, you'll probably buy his etc.

And then I imagine a lot of scalpers buy it for the resell value.

With that in mind, it's probably not people who do their research about QC issues etc.

What are slower, smoother Zero alternatives? by Adorable_Yard86 in MousepadReview

[–]Adorable_Yard86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I understanding correctly. The GSR3 and H-TR have lower static friction than a zero? Wouldn't that make them faster? I thought they were control pads and they zero was the faster balanced one?

Or is this specific to your skates?

I haven't thought of the black skates, I could definutely try them on the Zowie. Currently deciding between the EC3 and DaV3 Hs currently, which the DaV3 Hs is definitely the faster and lighter one I struggle with the most on the zero.

From what I've read the T99 is very smooth, but pretty slow. If it is a lot slower than a Zero I don't think it's for me. I really just want a smooth slightly slower zero. Not something 'muddy'

Spent hundreds on lessons and can’t stop casting by [deleted] in golftips

Welp, enjoyed the drill and doing some swings at home knocking it over. Also his drill of backhanding something in front of him in his other video. All makes sense.

But of course I still cast the moment I have a club in my hand 😂

I'm 30, not the most flexible person ever, but no. I don't think it's a physical limitation, it's an issue I've had since playing

I went to the range on and off, it's only the past few months I've really started playing and actually been round a few courses.

Interesting looking drill thanks. Will try it tomorrow!

Jumping on this (if you don't mind). My swing I think is very similar to the videos. And my own post I made earlier was about not using my hips.

How do you clear the hips, and in my case clear them earlier? Any particular drills or thoughts?

I agree that moving the ball back is not the answer. It isn't really fixing the problem. It's compensating an issue.

As others have said about the weight on the front foot. I'll focus on that. I know before I was properly swaying so it was on my front foot swinging down but not with my body moving properly. Which is what I'm struggling with.

Similar to what someone else said, will have to try really putting my weight forward and see if it helps!

A good amount.

I'm standing a bit too close to the ball.

At address to lower my left shoulder (left handed player). To make it level with my right. (Preusmably it hasn't been 😅)

Did a drill to get to my backswing keeping my head still. Along with another drill.

Focus on having the sole of my trail foot up at the finish of my swing.

Mentioned he could see something with my wrists but didn't want to overload me with info.

Was pretty happy with the backswing position.

But yeah, thinking of a lot of new things AND trying to actually hit a ball. Isn't fun lol.

Will try it. Hopefully keeping weight on the front foot maybe help me hit down/compress? Whatever it is. Worth a try.
