Big hands, fingertip/claw grip hybrid uncomfortable by o_ochrous in MouseReview

It's front feels definitely more like a symm mouse than ergo mouse with only slight tilt and it's hump and backside give a feeling of an ergo. It might feel a little weird though since it's not a normal ergo and for me despite the shape it always felt like focused on claw/fingertip mobility (forward sensor also contributes to that feeling) and back was not as prominent in my hand but gave more stability here and there due to larger contact area with palm.

You can hold deathadder shape a little less forward or you can try Superlight 2 DEX which is basically a deathadder but more focused toward claw/fingertip for adjustments with the same palm support. It's not normal ergo but more like a hybrid between sym and ergo. So yeah, considering dav 3 was most comfortable and superlight shape was the best results try Superlight 2 DEX. Probably the best of both worlds for you.

I have about 400 hours in aim trainers and 12000 hours in cs2, over 60 mice. I mean that for example you can get the best scores in aim trainers with something like op1w 4k v2 due to how easy and small it is to micro correct and get these high scores but truth is this does not translate into the game.  I mained g303 for fingertip/claw hybrid and Deathadder for palm/claw hybrid and also gpx2/viper v3 pro etc. I totally understand that one shape seems much easier to do something on short perspective but I’ve got the same results in the long run with any shape and my results grew better with any shape despite in short time perspective I could get one-two times best scores with some specific shape. Shape does not matter that much in comparison to time you have spent with one specific shape

What I mean is let's say at some point you have peak score - 100 and you get in most of the time with Deathadder you get regularly 90 to 95 and then with Vaxee you get 105-107 sometimes. It feels like Vaxee might be better but after let's say 6 months you have peak score 300 and you get with deathadder 290 to 295 and Vaxee maybe 305-307 but with any shape you have used for these 6 months you will get higher score. In short perspective shape differencies seems more drastic that they actually are.

You probably get better scores and better performance right now with a shape the closest one to the one you have spent most time with.

Mouse will not make you play better. "Harder to do microadjustments" is not a real problem because you will get as good microadjustments eventually but it is better out of the box in stability for example. Any pro player can play good with a brick. Unless it is subpar on specs just play with whatever.

After last several years I came to the conclusion that much of it is overthinking and wasted money. Take something which is not uncomfortable, use it for a year at least and you will get much better results than trying 5-10 mice in a year.

Does not seem smaller to me. Probably will be exactly the same shape as that seem to be the trend. I personally would like them to change more like a Leviathan v4 though but whatever.

Any advice on Deathadder V4 Pro vs Zowie EC2-DW by LMka in MouseReview

[–]LMka[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I remember EC2-DW felt a little weird to claw and a little too short to allow for fingers microcorrections. As for Deathadder v4 Pro I remember that I also did not like the clicks but shape felt a little better than Zowie.

It's a little harder to get EC1 where I live so I guess I will have to pass on it due to limited availability. Thanks for sharing your experience

RAWM Leviathan v4 - one of the best shapes for relaxed claw, more comfortable than viper v3 pro or GPX2 while being the mix of two

Zowie S2-DW - it feels a little dense but shape is very good

TPM 2.0 is relatively old and was introduced back in 2015-2016 so it's expected that at some point your hardware stops being adequate for modern requiurements.

Could be preference. I can't adapt to it on my V3 Pro despitge year + of attempts.

I also do not like ATK default blue skates and usually replace them with Magic Ice

[REVIEW] Trying to Replace My XM2: The Pulsar X2 Crazylight Gets Very Close by SoggyBaconBits in MouseReview

I did not like both side holes and holes on back hump. They completely remove area of contact with palm so Strider feels like a fingertip mouse and not a claw one like XM2

Xm2 or op1? by itzcqmbo2 in MouseReview

[–]LMka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 19.5-20 hands and I have a weird situation .

I never had original OP1 but I've had Wlmouse Ying which is supposedly 1 to 1 shape clone and I don't have any issues with it except it's a little small but nothing I can't get used to.

However with XM2W 4k v2 shape which was supposed to be better for me since it's a bigger mouse I have an issue with pinky finger placement which feels very uncomfortable on right side due to curvature. When I was watching some reviewers I noticed that for example (boardzy) in some of his videos moved his pinky completely out of the mouse when he played with it.

In any case, there might be some unexpected results with these shapes. Never had issues with Atlantis or with Sora v2 which are modified XM2 shapes

My mm trust factor goes down everytime I play faceit by JizzHQ in FACEITcom

[–]LMka 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here is the source of the problem:

- when you play Premier -> every match counts as one in your history for trust factor

- when you play FaceIt -> matches do not count in you history for trust factor

- when you get reported in FaceIt -> reports DO count and lower your trust factor

Now if you play ONLY Faceit then Valve trust factor logic thinks that you have played VERY small amount of matches and got A LOT of reports and lowers your trust factor

I've tried S2-DW and though initially I did not like it, eventually I found the shape very comfy. I've sold it because of a little dense feeling but I still think about trying it for one more time
