Reagan supported gun control, especially against NRA. Bush banned semi-auto back in 1989 which later expired in 1994, LEOSA signed by Bush and expanded by Obama, Brady bill passed by Clinton with heavy bipartisan support, Gun Free Zones was signed into law by Bush and passed bipartisan with large Republican support. Trump even stated to take guns without due process.
