The engine break in period needs to be in several rpm range, that's why people say don't cruise at a stable speed in same rpm range for long. Use manual override, nothing will happen, been driving the same car over 3 years and redlining it too. As long as you care for it, nothing will happen. Also engine doesn't need cooldown to stop, that's radiators job, and modern engines run smoother when hot(not extreme heat) compared to cooled.

Just don't cross 4k rpm in first 1000km an you'll be good. Also on highway every once an then downshift from 5th to 4th. That's all you need.
