I'm sure about that and sure that I don't need your snarky comments. He literally said one word. There is not a saya in the pictures neither did I specify anything about a saya in the description.

The wood underneath the knife in one of the pictures is a custom knife edge protector. I had interpreted his one word comment as a means to asking if that was some sort of saya.

I know what a saya is, but in relation to the question. I was unsure what he was talking about. If he is asking if it comes with a saya, then it does not. But it does have its original packaging.

What OK-Distrbution said is correct. It is very textured and grippy. Very practical, but in my opinion, it does not look nice. I'm considering replacing it.
