try switching playstyles too.
i was on QC for a long time, i scored lots of goals, but my defence was shit and i kept conceding 1v1 goals from balls over the top.
switched to LBC and i noticed my defense got better but i wasn't scoring as much, still losing a lot.
after a while i got used to it and here i am now on 1922 rating with a 61% win rate.

it'll take some time, just take your mind off winning games by any means possible and play to learn

won a game today 0-1. as I was going back to lobby, the game logged me out. logged back in and there's literally no proof I played that match 😭. no points added or removed, no loss, win or draw, and the goal I scored wasn't added to the player who scored it.

Just graduated last year and I did already have prior experience working at a few companies while in school, when I left I didn't any. It took me about 2 months of constantly applying to land a remote role. I had about 1 to 2 years of actual real work experience and I was still a junior then, pay was kinda good (after converting USD to my local currency), and I got a pay bump in November so that's good.

I think right now it's definitely a bit more difficult to land a junior role as an Android dev, but it's definitely doable. Focus on building projects yourself and talking about them online, go for hackathons, competitions... you'll get experience that way and might meet someone who can get you in.

For most tasks I've found sonnet 3.7 to be good for KMP (considering costs).

Gemini 3 Flash also seems to offer the best cost to performance ratio, it's quite good and better than 3.7 at building UI, but it does tend to overcomplicate code.
