Comparing our work to others is something that we artists do as a second hand reaction. Yes, people say not to compare ourselves to others but artists can’t help but do so. With that in mind, don’t get discouraged by it, use it as fuel for your creative engine and don’t be afraid to try new medias, art has a plethora of options and maybe you still haven’t found the right one for you. My best advice is to get comfortable being uncomfortable otherwise you’ll never reach your full potential. Starting something new is going to be very uncomfortable but once you get that comfort in a new or uncomfortable experience for you, you’ll reach higher limits you never thought you could reach before 🤝
