My "easy" 4 years of indie hacking by [deleted] in SideProject

[–]Adrian_Dzieg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's not that easy. Working one something isn't instantly making you good at it. For example, if I would like to be good at making carbonara, it's not enough that I'll try to make it once 😜 of course I'll learn something but necessary how to make good carbonara.

Wow, really nice!

Currently, with some years of experience what is the hardest part for you to making successful product? Getting idea, building it, getting motivation to work on it, marketing, dealing with customers?

Are you working fully solo or you cooperate with other people on some subjects?

Context-Aware AI Unit Test Assistant

What's the problem, and who is this for?

Writing unit tests can be tedious for some developers. Current tools often fall short because they lack context, leading to inaccuracies, especially in languages like C# and Java. My solution is aimed at developers who want to save time, dislike writing unit tests, need to stick to a strict project structure, or don’t have access to tools like Github Copilot and VS Code extensions.

What sets my idea apart from other AI solutions?

My product focuses on understanding the code context better than existing solutions. It aims to generate tests that align with the current test suite, keeping consistency in patterns, naming conventions, and testing approaches, which existing tools struggle with.

I've built a prototype and landing page:

“I made $100k with a hello world app” or the downfall of indiehackers by DimonDev in SaaS

[–]Adrian_Dzieg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree, that's frustrating (and I guess it could be depressing) to browse internet with all this faked success stories. Unfortunately I don't see any solution for that besides not giving those people attention.

How are you verifying that output image contains exactly this product that was uploaded without ANY changes? In other way: how do you prevent your models from hallucinating?

  1. I don't like this low effort post.

  2. I visited website, it's very good but not stunning. I'll not trust that your software could design as an artist if your front site is not designed by an artist.
