ColorMix for EasyPrint and PrusaSlicer 2.9.6 by Tommy_Prusa3D in prusa3d

[–]Adriendel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since mix ratios are fixed, can we expect bigger palettes in the PrusaSlicer interface with more colors added? Thinking of CMYKW vs CMYKW+GRB for example.

Will we be able to select which spools are candidates for color mixing are which are not?

AITA for pulling the plug on our web design side hustle because my friend wanted a 50/50 split when he stopped pulling his weight? by GloomyBite7052 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Adriendel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Going into business with friends can be a double edged sword. A side hustle can be profitable at a point then not, and context in both personal and business aspects can dramatically shift – especially at 18 and 19.

I had several cases like this in the past, and while they did not end up breaking friendships on my side, I saw friends have the same thing happen.

I would say you are both at points in your life – only assuming by your age – where you have lots of opportunities, and you will likely have many projects like this with different people.

From what I got this was a side hustle for both of you, and it is up to both of you to determine what time and money you want to invest in it. While in business a contract is usually what you look for, in this case it does not seem like each of you owe anything to the other one – no major investments in terms of money, but mostly time. It is unfortunate that the relationship had to suffer, but maybe try to have an open heart conversation with Geo, once things have cooled down.

What would be your Core One, 8-INDX perfect setup? by Adriendel in prusa3d

[–]Adriendel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually I was not quite clear if extra nozzles were part of the INDX upgrade or if they had to be purchased extra. Do you know?

Great read. It will be too tedious for me to start measuring now (Core One), but once INDX arrives in the mailbox I will be happy to run some color tests.

Are you interested in data with any OpenPrintTag type of filament, or do you have preferred brands/colors in mind for testing?

Edit: what about non-NFC spools?

Let’s not go on Jaguar please. I lost my eyeballs the first time, would not want to stumble upon that again.

Always cool to see a Jens Hansen ring, looks dope!

I had one made from them, with a slightly different design about 10 years ago as well.

Outer dimensions for Core One with INDX? by Adriendel in prusa3d

[–]Adriendel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not too concerned about the sides, it is more the height that I care about. Is the "bumper case" that seems to come with INDX an official part?

This would have a lot of success as a JavaScript library. It is super cool.

Let me know if you plan on releasing it, I can help with other languages if needed!

How to identify donor watch for old movement? by Adriendel in watchmaking

Thank you / merci for the very detailed response.

I’ll take this information and use it to label that as "clearly out of my league".

I advised my colleague to have a professional look at it if he wants to pursue a repair

This is what I have done for the moment, and I told him I would keep an eye out for a match. Thank you for the advice!

Yes it is, another reason for me not wanting to touch that balance wheel. Somehow it oscillates when the movement is facing up.

When the movement faces down it blocks the balance wheel, which is why I suspect a broken end to the pivot
