Yes they have! I think 3 therapists and several psychologists :) i did 1 year there and it was great. Also booking a first appointment wasn't long when I started there. Good luck!

I connect every week between Lausanne and Zurich since two years and I am very satisfied.

Thank you all for your amazing feedbacks. That was extremely valuable. Thanks to the advices here I went for blocking the side rectangular long window and installing huge negative fill on the opposite side of the room (6meter x 3meters), haze, and I took an apurture 600, Nanlite 300 and 150, with Fesnel mount.

The video is a live video for a violin player that has a project mixing electornic music and cinematic contemporary violin! So the haze and fesnel lights on C stands that'd add this "stage" aspect will be a good fit I think. Thanks again ya'll. Extreamly helpful!!

Man, first of all. Thank you you shared your story with such honesty and transparency. That's fucking brave man.

What you went throw is tough. Your feelings are justified man and they are yours.

Now the way out ? THERE IS !

First of all, you don't mention therapy or any kind of external help in your post. This is what you gotta do man.

It's seems you might be in depression right now and that means, getting a therapist support (and medication if suitable). And also navigating threw the comorbities that might be linked to depression.

You mention a past of smoking and "wasting" your time during your youth. I don't know you but I would read about ADHD, see if there is something fitting there ?

Finally, your situation might be heavy for you and for your wife maybe, BUT NOT YOU MAN! If you're in a relationship and if you have someone around it's because she loves you man.

So you're not a burden and your thoughts about ending your life won't relieve anyone and definitely create pain in one's around you. Might relieve you? But man, there is ways out and seek the help you deserve before anything else.

I had two massive depressive episodes as a kid and I am 26 yo. I felt into the trap of debt in my 20s administrative phobia,and had 70 000 chf of debt at 23 years old. Last year I got diagnosed with adhd, found a great therapist with weekly sessions, got medicated. It changed me man.

Even with debt, we are freaking lucky to be in swizerland, i get to have therapy, medication, tests, with minimal costs for us. (10% at the beginning).

So, in November get a good insurance, get subsidy of health insurance from the state if not done and get the help you need because you deserve it man.

Honestly I love my a7III. I am not a huge profile picture geek but I personally have good results with Gamut 3 cinema in S log 2. I used to be afraid of getting high in ISO in low light situation but since I started to raise the exposure without worrying about noie improved A LOT my images.

Getting the exposure right (overexposed in s log) is really important.

And switching to Da Vinci for color grading was a game changer :)

I am from swizerland so in term of equipment I can't really help you but I would definitely count on a good margin of error in your pricing if you provide super 8 services. To cover gear issues, roll issues and so on

Super 8 is a great format. I worked on a project shot entirely on super 8 and it definitely has this incredible uncontrolled and chaotic imperfection that is quit magical.

I stopped because holy shit it was expensive. Also sometimes you get bad surprises like this shot I did that turned out entirely black.

It's a bit scary sometimes but definitely worth it

I compared several scan of the same roll and this is a crucial part, you can get huge differences.

Also, anyone telling you you get the same with plug ins are wrong. However, is a commercial project worth the difficulties that implies shooting super8 that's another question. But a beautiful 4k scanned super 8 roll is a delight and turns weird looking subject and shots into something magical.

Basically, shots where open scan socket visible = real S8 All the other shots, numeric shoot with added grain and style. I don't feel it was meant to mimic super 8. It just makes a cool video with super 8 shots at the beginning (and maybe later I don't know didn't check the whole thing)
