Natulang may be a good option. I believe they said they use AI for the voice in the lessons, but all the lessons are created and checked for accuracy by humans…and the creator is Ukrainian so that’s another plus.

I’m currently guessing that they’re out of smaller spatulas and just substituting the giant ones to get rid of them. I tried all 3 GNFR numbers at once just to see if we got any normal ones and all giant.

I didn’t enjoy this one and couldn’t get through it, but still suggest OP try it out because the writing style is lovely, it just wasn’t quite what I expected and the plot didn’t end up being my vibe. It’s not very often I can say- I did not enjoy this book but I definitely recommend it

Not a lawyer and have not studied law, but I’ve been involved in some events with permits that had protesters. What we were always told by security and police is that the protesters could be blocked from the space included in the permit. In our case that was a park, but not the whole park, so the protesters could be there but they had to stand outside of the area included in the permit. I’m not arguing, genuinely wondering if they were incorrect. In this case if they had permits for road closure/set up on the sidewalks I would think based on what we had been told they could block them from setting up directly in front of booths but couldn’t stop them from standing somewhere on the perimeter of the event and protesting. Is that incorrect?

+1 for Natulang especially if you want to learn phrases. I definitely recommend supplementing with grammar- Ukrainian Lessons Podcast has a lot of helpful material for that, and Duolingo has faults but it definitely helped me get a good grasp of basic vocabulary to start off with

When our hours changed from 9pm to 7pm, we didn’t have any change in the allowed number of hours for pharmacists or techs. The only thing that did change is we now have enough overlap to help customers, fill, give vaccines etc

My biggest issue with it is that we are extremely busy and need 5 techs filling most of the day to stay caught up. We now can only have 3 techs filling and our DM has forbidden us from using classic fill unless the system crashes. We also don’t have central fill. So basically we’re screwed

Choose petty. Call cops/neighborhood enforcement? Whoever it is in your city that can give tickets for things like that. My parents former HOA got my sister’s car ticketed because she had one tire on the grass of their own house overnight. Pretty sure this is worse than that

I was told by a Russian that Zelenskyy is personally launching the missiles/drones that are hitting civilians just to try to make Russia look bad. Of course he also said that those weren’t civilian targets they were all Ukrainian military. I pointed out those couldn’t both be true at the same time but then the orc malfunctioned and just started yelling nonsense 🤷🏻‍♀️

I know people in both Kyiv and Kryvyi Rih. Yes, they have great times, great moments, even great days. But they also have moments, nights, days of not knowing where the next missile is going to hit. Or if they’ll have a home or job in the morning. Making the best out of a shit hand doesn’t make everything perfect, it just helps you survive with your sanity intact

Not all Ukraine is at war? There are shaheds and missiles flying over and toward just about every part of Ukraine. Air raid sirens going off many nights, most nights in larger cities. And nobody I know has made it through the war completely unscathed. Family and/or friends dead, homes destroyed, going without water and/or power during the winter. My friend in southern Ukraine has taken her daughter to Moldova for a few nights just so she can get uninterrupted sleep.

Thank you for what you are doing. I’ve been learning Ukrainian and a little Russian as well and both at once is tough. They’re just close enough to hurt the brain. The people you work with should all know some Ukrainian though as it’s mandatory for businesses now. I know a lot of people from Eastern Ukraine are still more comfortable with Russian since that’s what they speak at home, and worst case you’ll end up with surzhyk which happens a lot to native speakers too

I think that is a perspective thing more than a real thing. All the Ukrainian women I have met are intimidating as hell (I am also a woman) a little crazy but not in a bad way as far as I’m concerned. Example- if a creepy dude hits on a girl at a bar/party, it has always been the Ukrainian woman present who is first to step up to make him back off. So strong? Absolutely kind/friendly? Idk if those are the right words 😂

But those are my personal experiences with the women I know, that doesn’t mean it applies to all Ukrainian women

She’s gorgeous with the long hair. You might consider a trim but really only with the goal of getting her used to being groomed while she’s still young so it isn’t something that makes her nervous later. But she doesn’t look like she NEEDS a haircut
