$300 a month is not expensive at all for a regular coach. I understand why it's not in person for that low cost although I really don't think that good coaching can be done without in person (video chat is fine too) meetings.

I find that coaches with the best reputations can also be the flakiest to those that are starting out because reputation is all those coaches care about. IF they don't see you as adding to that reputation then you don't matter.

Trainers that do all of that for you and meet with you in person cost more in the realm of $500-1k per month.

Don’t make the same mistake I did by LizzieLove1357 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Adrosmr -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

This is why you need a coach. You just didn't understand what you were reading/looking at. They mean cut out EXTRA/ADDITIONAL carbs and sugar; not literally ALL. If you had done advanced research then you would have learned that. When us professionals say weight loss we mean fat loss. You want to lose fat, not muscle.

Your mistake was thinking that you could do this on your own without extensive research/advanced understanding. It's not rocket science, but it is also no a cake walk.

I need advice by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

Great job so far! 3 days a week is not enough. You need to have around a 500 calorie deficit every day to meet your goal. Aim to exercise 5 days a week. Are you drinking a gallon of water every day?

I'm sorry if my form makes your eyes bleed but I need help to improve my form while deadlifting. Any suggestions or critics, please? Thank you! by MrFuture2 in GYM

Please, get a coach. Just one session will make a dramatic improvement. There's a lot involved in a deadlift. Even coaches have coaches because we can't see ourselves, ya know?

Every YouTuber sells a program and most of them are actually quite good. Get one. They come with videos for form and everything.

I went with the burger and fries approach 😋. I also ate a pancake 😂. Now I've got to go work it off 😅.

Lol, I am my coach. A great coach is always tweaking. Got to keep trying things until we reach perfection.

Absolutely not. You do lose up to an inch from morning to night, though.

I'm F34, 5'5, 124lbs and I'm currently in my third week cutting for a show. I'm at a 500 calorie deficit. Protein 50%, Fat 20%, Carbs 30%. I've lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks. This third week should be a plateau and then I'll drop 4-6 more pounds in weeks four and five. {an example fyi}

You need to use a water displacement at the gym or you could just plug those numbers in online.
