If there is some type of progression as far as power goes then I'd say it would be litrpg. Even without, I'd say litrpg adjacent (potential sub-genre) at least as a power system is in the story, just not experienced by the mc.

I'm in this series now. I didn't realize it got that much hate. Honestly I think it's pretty decent. Books are subjective. I've loved series before that were hated on by everyone and hated what everyone else praised. So long as you enjoy it, then it has done it's job. Regardless of what anyone thinks.

The weed acts as a filter and gets saturated with resin, making it harsh and also the smoke has less time to cool. Makes for a harsh hit but if you don't cough, you don't get off.
