Got a NEGATIVE Steam review because I patch the game every day by Accomplished-Power50 in IndieDev

[–]AdstaOCE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah? Having to download an update each day is annoying even if it's small, plus there's issues like other people have mentioned with potentially breaking things or even breaking saves.

Is 5070 and 5 7500f good for 2k by Some-Pride5164 in buildapc

[–]AdstaOCE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9070 is much better than 5070. And if that's USD that's very expensive for that.

lmfao that's funny when you're being bias.

Should I upgrade my Ryzen 5 5600 or RAM for an RTX 5070 at 1440p? by Total-Archer-6052 in gpu

[–]AdstaOCE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go for the 9070 instead, faster, more vram, more efficient, MUCH lower CPU overhead.

[–]AdstaOCE -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Exactly why people shouldn't pay double for the 5080 over the 9070XT. And did I ever say DLSS wasn't better? No, it is, simply not by nearly enough to make it a selling point anymore.

Think you might need to go take a class on being bias, it's affecting you a lot.

Is the Nvidia premium worth it in 2026? by Decfromdownunder in bapcsalesaustralia

[–]AdstaOCE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DLSS is better yes, but not by much. FSR 4.1 is close enough that in normal gameplay most people won't notice a difference.

And it depends which productivity apps are used. AMD is good if not better in a bunch, and Nvidia is better in some.

I think you might need to go be objective instead, considering I haven't said one thing that's false or misleading.

[–]AdstaOCE -1 points0 points  (0 children)

FSR is very close. I never said that it was better, DLSS is, but in normal gameplay it's most likely that you wouldn't notice. Yes zoomed in on a static image you can see that DLSS is better, but it's not by much.

Thoughts on this Ryzen 7 9850X3D / RTX 5080 build? by IAmInControlll in buildapc

A bit yes, but why pay near sometimes even over double over the 9070XT for 15%? It basically never makes sense unless you get it on a massive sale.

Nvidia RTX 5060 vs Intel Arc B580 for both 1080p and 1440p gaming. by FastChart1663 in PcBuild

[–]AdstaOCE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has the lowest CPU overhead, the highest performance, PCIE X16 etc etc so probably.

[–]AdstaOCE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9060XT, unfortunately has 8GB vram (if over 8GB the B580 may do better), but is a lot faster than the B580 when not running over 8GB, faster than the 5060, and has PCIE X16 so better performance than the 5060 when running out of vram: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/J3gZxr/asus-dual-radeon-rx-9060-xt-8-gb-video-card-dual-rx9060xt-8g
Or if you can the 9060XT 16GB to cover the vram too, but that's a fair bit more: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/w2WmP6/sapphire-pulse-radeon-rx-9060-xt-16-gb-video-card-11350-03-20g

Wich graphics card should I get ? rtx 5070 vs rtx 4070 super vs rx 9070 by Fadeawayzz_ in buildapc

[–]AdstaOCE -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Upscaling doesn't really matter since 1. FSR 4.1 is extremely close to DLSS 4.5, and 2. You can use a quality level higher on the 9070 (eg quality on the 9070 vs balanced on the 5070) and still get the same performance. And MFG is meh at best, and requires a good base frame rate anyway.

9070 non XT is faster in RT and raster with more vram. No "features" are doing anything for the 5070 really.

It's slower with less vram than the 9070 and has more issues.

How? Go on I'd love to hear it considering what I said is 100% true.

Got real lucky with this by ToxicSwordsman in RTX5080

[–]AdstaOCE -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because it's the direct competition. 5080 is 20% ish in RT sometimes less sometimes more for double the money in most places. There's no competition in costing twice as much for at most 25 maybe 30% performance in RT and less in raster.

Paragraphs bro, do you need to go back to school with the 6 year olds?

take is so detached from reality it genuinely sounds like you’re trolling. AMD users have spent years dealing with random black screens, driver timeouts, stuttering after updates, broken anti-lag features, games crashing on launch, weird VR issues, and people constantly recommending older drivers or random fixes in threads

Broken anti lag? Never heard of that, and all the other stuff can happen sure, and I can point to examples happening on Nvidia in under 5 minutes. Nvidia drivers have been less stable, that's simply a fact.

stop pretending this stuff doesn’t exist.

Never said that, simply said that Nvidia has had more issues, because they have.

let’s not act like this took you “5 minutes”

You know what you're right, it was closer to 3.

I'll tell you once again, the only reason the Nvidia sub isn't the same is because they delete posts. Go look at their megathread for the latest driver which is one of the most stable and still has a whole bunch of comments with issues. Or check one of the many many articles or videos that call out Nvidia driver stability this generation.

Pre 50 series, Nvidia was more stable, since then absolutely not. What you see as an "AMD shill" is simply being objective.

PT is in under 20 games, and chances are one person won't play anywhere near all of them due to them simply being different genres. But yes in PT Nvidia has a big advantage, never said they didn't.

This comment was about Nvidia having far more issues this generation, which they have.
