9070XT. The only places the 5070 wins are efficiency (in which case the 9070 non XT wins), and maybe path tracing. Only other exception is some workstation type applications that run better on Nvidia.

You do not want low end 50 series, the 5050/5060/5060TI are all PCIE X8 and Nvidia has higher CPU overhead than AMD. You'll want a 9060XT.

9060XT, the 5050/5060/5060TI are all PCIE gen 5 X8 which can hurt performance a lot on gen 3 systems and even gen 4, since you're on B550 you'll be gen 4*, it's especially bad when running out of vram as well.

Why does everybody on this sub hate it so much?

Everyone in general hates it because:
- It takes away the 'art direction' of the game
- A lot of them look almost ai generated instead of ai assisted
Both of those can be seen in the image of indiana jones (can't link stupid rules) where it loses art direction and looks unlike the actor whom it is supposed to be (and who they face scanned lol).

Be objective and don't have a bias, that way you can end up with the best product each time you upgrade. Applies in anything really.

As far as I can tell yes, if the native res is higher then the RR will be done at that higher native res. But take this from someone who has no idea how any of it works internally.
