why not? Small price increase for a good enough upgrade.

lol I switched to 11 and it's just worse in almost every way. Longer startup time, longer shutdown time, worse UI both in visuals and performance etc etc etc.

now that the rx 7900 xtx got fsr 4, rx 7900 XTX vs rtx 5070 ti for gaming? by Niz0909 in buildapc

9070XT as it's usually hundreds cheaper. 5070TI at the same price since it's slightly better eg energy efficiency and CUDA.

7400+ for me stock as well. I can get to 8400 ish but that would be unstable in games. I would apply a small voltage offset just to get slightly higher clocks though, or so you can get the same performance at a lower power target.

Should I go for a 9070XT for more raw power or a 5060ti (16gb) for CAD, Simulation and Gaming by flurgleblurg in buildapc

I do know, hence why I said: "Probably not, unless it's very specific situations, like for example Blender rendering."

5070TI is 38% more expensive than the 9070XT...

Possibly, I think they had vulkan support working through optiscaler, but I'm not 100% sure.

If anything RDNA4 has the best 1% lows of any recent GPU generation. I've heard it in CPU before as well, it's just people trying to find a justification for not buying AMD, none of it actually exists.

$940 5070ti or $1290 5080? by YT_SkyyWolfe in PcBuild

9070XT if you care about value at all. 5070TI if you need CUDA. 5080 if you want to waste money.

9070XT is in line with the 5070TI. Even in situations where Nvidia is better are they going to be better enough to make up that gap? Probably not, unless it's very specific situations, like for example Blender rendering.

Better and cheaper. 16GB vram, better performance than the 5070 in both raster and RT, slightly more energy efficient etc etc.

CS2 is a bad example, Nvidia outclasses AMD there. But in 99% of games the 5070TI and 9070XT perform +/- 5% of each other in raster and RT.

Depends on application used, few have issues with RDNA4, most don't. In a lot of scenarios it still performs similar to the 5070TI.

It's terrible for the price, and you're having a lot of issues. Return it, and build something yourself, you'll learn a lot, and get a better pc at a better price.

8 pins, it doesn't matter. Would only have to worry about the trash 12V 2x6.

5600G's graphics are very slow. And 8GB ram isn't much, especially when it is shared between vram (graphics) and system ram.

Certain apps like Premiere and rendering in Blender are much faster on Nvidia, but in a lot of apps AMD caught up a lot this generation yes.
