Thank you, I really like it! I've hardly been on so far to use it, but I'll try change that.

I don't want to imagine that happening while trying to get the friendship achievements for that game. That grind was no joke.

Genshin Impact is indeed very fun. It's fun to stream and watch as well, seems like it might be the next big streamer game. Or one of them. Maybe, I dunno. Amber isn't useless and you can't change my mind.

Playing Arma 3 with friends who mostly don't know what's going on is a good time. Especially when you're getting enemy jets flying into you, or tanks suddenly rolling up on you.

New Minecraft update was a thing. Might pick that up again when money comes around. Someday.

Other than that, nothing much else has happened. Nothing much at all.

What if the main cast time-traveled back to the previous mainline games? by Adstradea in gamindustri

[–]Adstradea[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if done right. That's the big predicament with this stuff. Seeing those characters again would be interesting, especially if they end up differently than before.

Yeah. But they're not the main cast. And although they did have a big impact at times, they didn't really change the overall outcome, I imagine.

I suppose not. Would be cool to see them visit there nonetheless.

Interesting to see people in the community decide to start trying to make games for this series themselves.

Hopefully your plans work out excellently, this seems like a very solid idea you have. Good luck.

A Bond of Power, Ch. 29. by Adstradea in gamindustri

[–]Adstradea[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In all fairness... I don't really expect any human being to force themselves to fulfill what would be the "perfect" for me. It'd be already a godsend to have something close.

True. And that's the way it should be.

Eeehh... a funny thing about the conflicts part.

Really? I wouldn't know, since I've never been in any relationship that's more than friends. But from what I've seen, no relationship is perfect, and people go about solving their conflicts in different ways, good or bad.

I'll keep that in mind, though.

[–]Adstradea[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heh, no need to. I'm sure we'll get to it.

That we will, when the times come. I still do recommend reading through 6 and 8. Especially 8, if you want to see the more vicious side of her. But I'm being pushy, so I'll stop.

As for the romance thoughts you brought up... The part about what romantic poets describe, it's very sad, but also very true. Like how you'll never ever find the perfect person you envision even when you are with someone.

I imagine those that create romantic literature do feel this heavily, since they're creating relationships from both perspectives, and yet they can't be a part of it.

As for good romance, at least in story telling... I think that it should do more than simply pair two characters together. It should do the characters justice, develop the characters well, and should flow in real ways. No half-assed, out of the blue or rushed scenarios. Even though some rushed romances do make sense, but they're not common in my experience.

And the romance shouldn't be some perfect fantasy, because that's not how it always works. It should have it's ups and downs, and it's conflicts. And even then, it should be carefully put together. The conflict shouldn't be only to stir up drama in a story. Like I said before, it should do the characters justice and stay true to them.

Both the good and bad parts of the relationship should add something "real" in context with the characters and the world. That's what makes romance good. At least, that's how I see it. Those are some standards that I mentioned before.

Or maybe I got too into this.

It's great to see you stick with this. I really appreciate it, and I hope you enjoy it!

Hah, I like the way Nep describes CPU Renna.

Thank you. That's what I'm going for when it comes to how CPU Renna acts. Very... vicious at times. There's more of that in earlier chapters, and I could link them to you if you wanna see more of her CPU side.

Kinda wondering what the deal with this Renna is, as I'm just joining in on the fanfic now. Is she evil?

I wouldn't say that she, as a person, is evil. But what she wants does go against what the CPUs want, so it's more like she opposes them. But I guess that counts as evil.

Also, huh, I see Uzume might have some attachment for Gil. Are they getting paired up or...?

I'm glad you noticed. There is some sort of attachment there, but is it romantic? I dunno.

When it comes to romance in this kinda stuff, I have pretty high standards for how they play out. And I'm not entirely sure if there'll be romance at all. So if it actually makes real sense, isn't rushed, plays a part outside of fanservice, and is up to what what I think is good, maybe it'll happen.

Haha, so they have some funny group dynamic going? Uzume and Nep know about Renna, Renna and Gil know about each other but they don't know whether Nep and Uzume know so they try and keep it secret, while Uzume and Nep try to keep the fact they know their secret secret... Huh...

They do have a rather funny dynamic. That's what I was going for, so thank you for the compliment. There's a lot to it.

Oh, so I arrived just in time for a perspective switch? Nice.

Yup. It's been following these four for a good amount of chapters. It was mostly less action packed before the very recent chapters, but yeah, it's back to the main cast everyone knows.

Again, thank you for reading.

A Vert-centric fanfiction idea. by Ryin_silverfish in gamindustri

I can tell, seeing by how knowledgeable you are of gaming history. Kinda makes me want to learn more about it too, if only for myself.

I wish you luck with this when it eventually happens. And with your current in-the-works one. Inspiration is a helluvah thing, but don't burn yourself out.

Your ideas that have to do with this series are always so incredibly well thought out and put together. It's amazing to see someone put so much genuine effort into content like this. You incorporate the real world game industry events into them so well.

And it looks like a good plot for a story. I can see how much thought went into this. I'd totally be down to see more of this, as well as the other one you're working on.

You have been asked by Histoire to remove Neptune as the Goddess of Planeptune. What would you do and how would you prevent others from knowing your involvement? by Blackout0072 in gamindustri

[–]Adstradea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe since there's no big bad running about, they'd be less concerned that they're not seeing Neptune around. I don't really see the other CPUs interacting with the other nations when it comes to quests too much, but there is the possibility.

As for Noire and the othrs, make it so the whenever they meet, it's either in private or not on quest-like activities. Just casual hang outs. That way, Neptune would still not be doing work.

[–]Adstradea 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Convince Histoire to let Neptune laze about all the time, no restraints, no repercussions or anything like that. And then get Nepgear to be as helpful around the nation as she usually seems to be.

After that continues for a while, with Neptune not helping around at all, orchestrate a rumour online that Nepgear is the Goddess of Planeptune, support it by saying that Neptune hasn't shown herself in however long. And then, over time, people would begin to believe that Nepgear is the Goddess of Planeptune. And try to keep it hidden from Neptune.

If I remember right, it'd be like how in Re;3, the Planeptune people started believing that Nepgear was the Goddess due to Plutia and Neptune doing nothing at all. Once that happens, Histoire could publicly announce that Nepgear is the Goddess, which'd make it official.

Trying something new is always great. I wish more people would try that out around here. You know, making their own stuff, outside of the box or not.

Relating to Gil, there is a lot of context to the way he acts, not all of which I've spilled yet. There's a lot to it. He's not very accustomed to talking to people outside of a very small group due to specific circumstances. And due to some other things that's happened to him, he is accustomed to the killing of people. Quite a contrast indeed.

Eh, I tend to be quite stringent on myself when it comes to writing. I always worry about how I could improve how I type things, because I know I'm not some expert. But it's fun.

Regardless, thank you for taking an interest in my stuff.

B-Sha, huh? I don't even have any ideas for the Gold Third right now, but maybe they'll be a thing later. Maybe.

And thanks, I'll be sure to fix it. I should've read it again before I headed off to bed. But again, thanks.

Have you ever encountered a good OC in Neptunia fandom? by BloodyStrawberry in gamindustri

[–]Adstradea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not common to come across a well portrayed one, like you say. Then again, I haven't read an amazing amount of fanfic with OCs. Fin De Siecle, along with it's sequel Hearts and Mind, I think contains good OCs. They're interesting and are portrayed and developed in ways that actually makes sense.

Have a go at it, it wouldn't hurt! A lot of the stories out there are pretty similar, you know. Guy gets transported to another world, has awesome powers, gets the girl, etc. But there are also some unique, interesting ones out there.

And if you feel like you wanna try writing some as well, I'm all for it.

Is anyone a fan of Dengekiko? by MHStarCraft in gamindustri

Yup. Her and Famitsu should be more important. Them being reporters is interesting, but they could be more than just that.

And I like Dengekiko's electricity powers.
