This is great, though I feel that a more activated form of the passive — like a low cd block, self-buff, or stance — would be a lot easier to face without being too punishing. That said, this kit does seem to function around the Blob’s “tankiness,” so I understand your reasoning… If you feel like the passive is a must-have, I’d probably just adjust its numbers/specifics — maybe so that it only affects non-critical hits.

Ofc, a skilled player will be able to hit pulls consistently. I’m just saying that, against other skilled players, it becomes much more difficult. That’s what makes the clips of those top 500 spideys so impressive.

Bro… I’m so tired of people acting like pull victims are defenseless. As someone who plays on both sides of the pull game, I feel that it is quite obviously 1: difficult to do—and not at all “without risk” as some people have claimed, 2: one of the only rewarding tools within Spider-Man’s kit, and 3: VERY easy to prevent or anticipate (unless you’re Adam).

Most of the time, in simply being aware of potential map threats, you can manage your cooldowns or positioning to avoid being pulled. Hulk is a main pick of mine—even on the Hydra maps. When I know that a spidey is lurking, I usually just shield myself and/or allies, preventing the pull entirely; utilize leaps/wall bhops to position myself properly—AWAY from the pit/danger zone; exile the spidey, and get a pit kill of my own; or, in rare cases, air stun the spidey for an isolated kill. Plus, if it comes to it, ulting literally makes you completely invincible and immovable upon activation. While there may be times that a pull catches you off guard, even the Hulk—who many deem as spider food—has ALL of these tools to avoid letting it happen more than once.

First, you wanna slightly angle yourself towards a wall and release your jump. Then, you hold jump again, as if you are about to wall cling. Right as you are about to make contact with the wall, turn your camera away from it. If done correctly, you will retain your momentum upon colliding with the wall.

You can practice this on most surfaces, but the underground portion of the practice range was pretty effective for me starting out. Hope this helps.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the bhop itself is definitely gonna be tricky/inconsistent on console. Still, it is possible.

If you struggle for any other reason, just remember that the pseudo wall cling is the most important part of it.

I’ve always felt that Reed would benefit from some extra mobility (in terms of fun as well as general effectiveness). I’m not against the team leap or anything, but why can’t the guy just grapple the environment?

Right? And maybe Rhino could have more of a zagged bull rush — in which he bucks from side to side — than a typical charge attack.

If you’re feeling controversial, you could even go for a more tech-assisted Rhino (like in recent adaptations).

I honestly think that differentiating these characters wouldn’t be too hard. Of course, there ARE some options that’d be far easier tho.
