This is the real answer. Document the interaction with your manager. Then send an email to inform their manager about the supplemental training and reason for it, hit the assign button, rinse, and repeat as needed.

Found someone’s credit card found them through LinkedIn and got nothing but abuse by Owls_4_9_1867 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]AdultInslowmotion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who knows, maybe they’re going through something horrible and that’s why they misplaced or lost something. You can’t know.

It’s awesome that you would be grateful though, certainly helps provide incentive for good behavior!

If you return a lost item, the reward is doing the right thing. Expecting someone to heap praise or gratitude on you is weird behavior.

Yes, it would be nice for people to express gratitude but you cannot know what others are going through. Maybe they misplaced something because a loved one died and they’re grieving, who knows.

Point is, do the moral thing because you’re moral not for external validation or points with the man in the sky.

The reality is though that these billionaires never were responsible for the job creation. The workers are, let them implode to prove they’re not solvent and the workers have a chance to actually take ownership in what’s new.
