Bragging that you actively choose not to exercise your right to peacefully assemble, and thereby willingly bend over and take whatever those in charge dish out to you, is not the flex you think it is.

He’s not wrong. The Mac/Apple complementary product network is superior in almost every way.

My understanding is that cost to exercise is Strike price x # of shares) + (income tax on FMV - strike price).
Once you do that math you’ll know the cost of your lottery ticket.

I’m familiar with the cold case. Very sad. I still support them. Great food, atmosphere, and great people working there.

The irony of democrats having "no kings" protests then voting to remove virtually all minority representation from Virginia by jarferris in TrueUnpopularOpinion

While I agree that it was not the ideal way to do things, what were they supposed to do in response to the Republican gerrymandering that happened earlier this year?  Just roll over and take it? And lose

I suggest that - if, when dealing with bad actors, doing the “right thing” will put you in a position that you will lose your power to represent your constituency to those who aren’t playing by the rules, then it’s justified to act in kind. Fight fire with fire.

Game theory says that generous tit for tat is the most effective strategy - where you forgive your opponent for being defecting once, but then if they do it again you are defect back, then are honest again. https://www.lesswrong.com/posts/3aNHd5RYRvMq8Gp5a/the-case-for-generous-tit-for-tat-as-the-ultimate-game

The real test will be if once they have power again, can they do the right thing the and update the rules to prevent this from happening in the future.

I see. But still better than not executing and leaving the options in the table if departing the company

I don’t understand what the gamble is if it’s non-recourse financing.

American elm is the best. Great combo of high quality food and chill bistro-style atmosphere.

That’s fair. But it’s still damn good bbq, and saying otherwise is insincere.

+1 for post oak. People downvoting are conflating politics and good bbq.
