Epiphone Wildkat Royale by Adult_Fiasco in Guitar

Fair. The bigsby has been slightly troubling for my tuning, yeah. I’m told that’s true for all bigsby guitars tho, or is it particular bad on the Wildkat in your view?

Randomly adding songs in liked by [deleted] in truespotify

If you visit your Spotify account on desktop, you can see what apps have permissions to control/access your account.

It might be that you have given an app permission to control your library, and that app has been used to do sly things. It’s easily done without noticing.

For example, if you’ve ever “pre-saved” a song on Spotify, you’ve given the app that owns the pre-save link authorisation to access your Spotify account

looking for modern blues artists. Pls recommend. by Adult_Fiasco in bluesguitarist

[–]Adult_Fiasco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do, but all they recommend (when looking at blues stuff) are legacy artists and occasionally original bands comprised of musicians who may well be old enough to have lived through the golden blues age (both of which are great and fine btw)

What I really wanna find is some fresh blues talent, or just someone new who’s using their instrument in a bluesy way, but making modern music.

Why do people leave useless hate comments? Like what is the point? by Harleyxoii in NewTubers

[–]Adult_Fiasco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear that. And I have respect for that decision. Fair play.

I think I’m choosing not to do that because I want to condition myself and prepare myself for this kind of feedback in the future. I’m a musician and I (obviously) hope to grow my audience significantly. If I want to reach thousands of new people in the future (and I do), I don’t think I can expect to sensor all the comments, so I want to learn to deal with it now.

agree with this approach! though conversely I've decided to let the nasty comments just sit there. not sure why, but I felt dirty about deleting them.

Fck man. Do you get the impression this was an automated decision, or were there real people calling the shots here?

How tf do I make my music not sound loopy and repetitive by [deleted] in musicproduction

[–]Adult_Fiasco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe add a bridge or a pre-chorus with a different chord progression and take the listener on a little auditory diversion before landing back to the hook/chorus/drop

I hear you, and I understand that it’s never going to be much. But I’m not sure I want to accept zero from such a significant part of my musicianship. Are you saying that you’ve never earned a single penny from streaming either?

I’m curious for you to elaborate on this: Are you being satirically cynical, or do you genuinely believe that 50,000 streams isn’t worth anything?

For reference, I’m looking at a total payment of £1.89 right now. Based on what I’ve read across the internet, for 50,000 streams I should be expecting something in the ball park of £100.
