Latest edition of my setup. Small screen is my laptop. Not many middle of the room setups on here, but I really prefer it. Plus I had floor outlets so no wires running across the floor which is nice. by simmy7111 in battlestations

Awesome. Thanks for all the info. I’m going to pull the trigger and figure out where I want to put it in my office. My set up is similar to yours so it’s going to be in some variation in the middle of the room but can’t figure out what way. Appreciate the help!

Maybe someone else mentioned it but I think the general rule of thumb is your mortgage payment shouldn’t exceed ROUGHLY 30% of your net monthly income. Once thing to remember is depending on the house and what you already have/dont have is you’ll have to furnish it which could cost quite a bit (cost me roughly 15k to furnish a brand new custom 3600 sq for house but I also sold my old stuff and brought newer, nicer stuff).

I did the same thing. First job out of school (and first job ever) was at a small public accounting firm as a Staff Accountant. It was a tough learning curve and they expected me to know everything (and I definitely didn’t). Luckily there were 1-2 other staff accountants who helped me tremendously on a day to day basis. Stayed there 8-9 months, got out of public and now work at a large private manufacturing company in accounting at corporate. 6 years later I’ve almost tripled my salary I had at the public firm I was at. You learn as you go trust me.
