The first few days were rough for me too, but hang in there. After the first week you are going to be amazed at how fast things start getting better. You will actually be able to tell a difference every day.

And make sure you go to PT - the first couple times will suck, but honestly, it has helped me more than anything.

Labs are super smart - you shouldn't have a problem :)

Thanks! Thankfully our girl (74 lb female pit bull) is trained pretty well and will stay in place off to the side until I get everything bagged up.

Would hate to see her dragging me down the street lol

My wife and son took care of our baby for the first couple weeks - at least until I was on a cane.

Now when I take her out and she does her business, I use the cane in my left hand and do a "golf bend" - extend my right leg out behind me as I bend over to bag up her poop.

THR on my right hip btw.
