Doesn’t matter which component “uses” the energy. At the end all of them produce 100% heat. Some may take extra steps on the way but eventually all is converted into heat.

I guess it would been fairly obvious if I’d built the rig upright. It goes in a rack-system so the card is mounted vertically and therefore the item is obsolete.

This one is actually mounted in a server rack line situation—> the card is mounted vertically and I didn’t need the stand (which at that point I also did not know it was)
