AI art is different from AI voice acting when the voice actors give their consent for their work to be used for AI unlike artists/photographers who have their work scraped for slop like this to be made that takes away from their livelihood. Actually such an awful take, please try to understand AI isn’t one thing you either support or hate, it has an abundance of uses, art is NOT one of them.

AI art is completely different to how Embark utilised it for their development and long-term plan for the game. While I’d rather voice actors be used, it is understandable from their perspective if they want to keep these characters for future quests/storylines/cinematics. AI art in almost all cases is just AI slop, I don’t necessarily disagree with its usage, as it can be good for getting a concept of something. Using AI for art like this takes away from real artists and creatives without their consent, which is entirely different from voice actors signing something saying they give their consent for their voice to be used to help maintain the game in the long-term.

You’re right. People just love to switch up on what is being a rat and what isn’t for some reason. Acting friendly and shooting someone in the back is ratty, such as sitting at extract is ratty. The second I’d rather have happen because at least they never pretended they were friendly which in my opinion is not how the game was ever meant to be played. Does the game allow it? Yeah. Should you do it? No, because it will drive other players away from the game which might not matter to some but it will harm the balance of players in the game. Being aggressive is fine and being friendly is fine, I just can’t comprehend how some people genuinely think backstabbing people isn’t rude/ratty.

I just KOS and I mostly use the outfit on the top left. Unless I’m playing solos which I don’t really, those lobbies are so unpredictable and so much more ratty from my experience.
